season 1 they set it up that hyde had secret feelings for her. It was revealed in the christmas one, in the ski trip one he kisses her and he crashes Donna and Eric's first date episode to try and tell her how he feels.

And in season 4 there's that dream where Eric sees what it would be like if her and Hyde had got together instead of him.

Yep. I didn't watch for ages after the first two series because it was obvious they'd given up on it, but looking through they always had so much chemistry... especially in Season 8 for some reason. Love the vid anyway.
