@touttamoi Louise, in the movie I know they are on a yacht at the end, Ella is in an armchair or on a sofa and maybe not able to walk, but she's alive... I should check it out again... Thanks for the thumb up :-)

@touttamoi ... have just watched the last scenes again keeping my eyes more on the lady than on Kris lol They used so much make-up for this scene on the boat. But you're right, this wasn't Ella... I really was wondering how she could have survived these wounds in the 19th century. There was no Dr. House back then lol So, what about the ending? That he has never found another real love? Maybe that's it. I was surprised that he didn't burn down the boat with the lady and himself finally lol

@Kine1 No, I didn't, but you're right, a bit she does, especially when Kris is looking at her from behind the horse... You confused it a bit, the movie is Heaven's gate, but I'm sure you knew it :) Didn't they use some awesome scenery pictures in it?? That's just brilliant to me...
