I don't know if anyones said this, but the street shots of Sydney throughout it are taken from a music clip by an Australian band called Cold Chisel and their song Saturday Night. I remember seeing this clip like 10 years ago and was really chuffed, because Cold Chisel would be one of my favourite Aussie bands, and U2's one my favourite bands

@BlackMamba903 True, cut out the generally overlong and uninspiring live stuff on R&H and you would have had a studio album that would have been a seamless bridge between their two acknowledged masterpieces - The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby, that would probably have been as highly regarded as the two.

I miss this U2 : a creative band with soul evoking music. Every now and then they get a spark, but it gets submerged in mediocre music. I don't mean to hang Bono with his words, but there was a time were he "could sleep on stone", or hang from the rafters with the crowd watching in awe. U2 made their best music in troubled times, perhaps that is where they can find the fire again.

I love this U2 song...I use it to see if someone's sound system is up to the test...if the bass can handle the thumps and if the volume button really goes to TEN! The Rattle and Hum CD version is pretty good, granted live "interpretations" are usually better.

there isnt a full concert from this show. this is from the lovetown special aired on tv in 1989. theres only 5 1/2 songs on it: hawkmoon, watchtower, all i want is you, god part 2, when love comes..., and a little bit of love rescue me. the UK version had desire on it, but that is real rare, but the video is on youtube.
