It works anytime, I have to say. If you already beaten the game then there are still Borgia couriers running around cities.

Are these people running round as soon as you start the game? I have just finished the "Family Heirloom Mission" so will there be any of these carriers around? or do you have to get further into the game?

I think there won't be running, since Giovanni knows Ezio knows nothing. But maybe they were running with no arrows above their heads before. So, you have to get further into the game [Probably when you assassinated your first target or so? Or maybe after killing Vieri, since you saw the Spaniard.]

I used a throwing knife it only wounded him but he stopped and I got the achievement and the money.

you got lucky a throwing knife sometimes doesent kill them in 1 shot.

Probably in Venice he won't, but I think this is before going to Venice [Meaning: When you get in Venice it's more protected, so it means Borgia couriers were weak and not protected because you would NEVER expect anyone to kill you by working with a Templar, right...? I guess not.]

I accidently killed the dude and push him off so hes dead but i did not get the achievement so are you sure you can get the achievement by killing him

Yeah you can get the achievement if you kill him, I didn't realise that unitl afterwards.

However, if you kill him you won't get the money.

Actually you can, taking him down + getting the money is the same as killing him + looting the money from him. :)
