  • Para-demons look at last part

  • gotta love this scene, whey cant they make a new superman with this kind of action...like a real movie..i know the new superman in man of steel, but its the same ole go round. none of the new enemies, like doomsday, or darkseid are in a real movie...only in animated movie. ....ya i nkow they were in smallville..but such shitty, small scenes...and clark always runs around in normal clothes...barely ever wears the superman suite.

  • 3:38 TEAM DARKSEID IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!!!

  • Comment removed

  • why do you pussies always cut the video off at that point?!

  • Yeah Superman is powerful, but he's no Hulk.

  • @nrvrine427 i do that for every cartoon that gets like this

  • @Nrvrine427 I do that for every cartoon

  • Even Superman uses Captain Kirk's patented overhead interlaced fist smash as a finisher... :)

  • Superman- Excuse me. -punches the **** outta Darkseid-

    Loved that part lmao

  • "I live in a world of cardboard...always holding back because if I lose control, someone will die. But you can take it. What a rare opportunity." O.O Who's the Supergod now? :D

  • in every fight i have had to always keep myself under control or i could hurt the people i love but you can take it darkside cause what i see is a rare moment for me to break the chains and show you MY TRUE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nigga stfu u lil bicxhh

  • Superman really caused a lot of damage. He's like a terrorist!

  • It was a big fucking mind blow to hear that all this time, Superman was HOLDING BACK!

  • i was kinda hoping superman lost.

  • this was big when this first aired

  • "Super or otherwise, you're merely a man, and I am a GOD"

  • The Strongest Falcon punch Ever.

  • Yeah this is really far from the comics. In the comics, Darkseid would crush Superman easy, Batman would be annihilated from the omega beams, and it would be all over. Doesn't mean it's a bad cartoon though ;)

  • @Xtremeperson Both Superman and Batmanhave beaten Darkseid in the comics before multiple times.

  • this sounds 100000% better in latin spanish, in fact

  • @DeeNeon For real?

  • @Vilemk0 Yeah, very very real.

  • man it would be funny as hell if superman missed darkseid when he slammed him to the ground at the end

  • Can you imagine trying to get insurance in that city

  • billions of dollars in property damage who else thinks bout that even tho its jus a show

  • @kitchma21 Haha yup! I cringe everytime they smash something, thinking "who the fuck is paying for all that?!?!"

  • I stil ldon't get why they had Darkseid imitating Bane at 2:10...

  • anyone who reads the comics kno superman cant beat darkseid he at full strength

  • This just goes to show you how stupid things have become in the DC\WB company.

How can Batman move faster the Darseid's omega beams.

Superman and Flash are the only two heros who have superpeed and still at times get hit by the beams.

  • @lovecats2 it has nothing to do with speed its agility and timing on batmans part

  • superman was getting pwned the first half of the fight why let loose after getting beat down?

  • This is how Smallville should have ended

  • @DreolicGaming i so agree... dat fight wud hav been epic

  • epic... just Darkseid's "Flee" gave me goose bumps

  • Superman is Snapping OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is he dead ??? o.o cuz if nt thn he might be immortal XD cuz he cnt survie tht strong hit XD

  • You might want to change the title, I'm not sure if you truly understand what it means to put an "x" in between two names.

  • Sam Fisher is the voice of Darkseid...Freaken sweet.

  • @AgentSmith217 actually it's Michael Ironside according to IMDB.

  • @Gundamknight100 Yea, its the same guy.

  • haha falcon puch lol

  • some even

  • superman needs to take up spme MMA classes

  • Super or otherwise your merely a man, and i am a god!

    favorite quote EVER!

  • After watching this, i now firmly believe that a full on fight between DC's Superman and Marvel's Hulk will be the most immense fight I will ever witness. Whoever wins, I don't really care, I'll just sit there and watch one fucking epic battle.

  • @soraenja952 From a safe distance hopefully. :P

  • Dark side thinks hes a god when he alone got owned twice by batman

  • @TheSuperSayian9000 Batman can beat God... if he has enough time to prepare.

  • oh, by the way, 3:37.... "I AM A MAN!!!"

  • ...i honestly had no idea that cartoons outside of Japan could be this awesome... O_O

  • That concussive blast at 3:36 is AWESOME. That's the kind of stuff that they should have in the next Superman movie. Lifting an island into the sky at a snail's pace (which seemed to take about an hour) was incredibly lame. Superman is the most powerful hero in the DCU. It should be breathtaking when he cuts loose.

  • darkseid is my fav villian but after superman punched him he looked like a flapjack floating in the wind.

  • wtf..darkseid shouldn't have moved when batman jumped on him and he should've turned to pulp when he threw him.

  • so all of the sudden superman starts kicking ass out of nowhere

  • KRYPTONIAN RAGE!!

  • Is Lex Luthor a good guy here or what? Update please?

  • @Kotlettbengt Luthor is a bad guy helping the good guys fight the baddest bad guy. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," in a way.

  • @zarreph OK, thanks. Good description :P

  • three folks from Apokolips

  • Lmfao Lex Luthor got the hell outta dodge when Darkseid was aboout to shoot him

Darksed: YOU WANT SOME TOO PUNK???

    Lex: ....NO!

  • @Mangyblue13

Be honest....you took this from the movie "Friday" didn't you?

  • @HokutoAnsatsuken of course lmao it just matched this scene all too perfectly

  • @HokutoAnsatsuken of course! Look at darkseid and tell me he doesnt remind u of Debo from fridqay xD

  • @Mangyblue13

    That's my bike, punk!

  • What the fuck do they keep at a newspaper office that EXPLODES on every floor?!?

  • @Orcman22

    lol

  • @Orcman22 RIGHT!!

  • @Orcman22 the chemicals for news print :)

  • @Orcman22 the same bombs they used during 9/11 perhaps?

  • I wonder if Superman was holding back just a little. He supposedly let loose with the single most powerful punch he was capable of, and Darkseid didn't die, or even get knocked out.

  • @CAPNMRVL well darkseid is a god so i guess he does have some resilience.

  • @CAPNMRVL Which just shows Superman may have underestimated how strong Darkseid became. Just because he's Superman doesn't mean he beats everyone.

  • I wanna see something like this on the smallville finalle xD

  • @HanSollo Yeah, me too, hopefully! But then again, a fight this epic may be way above the budget

  • im sure supes made sure the city was evacuated as best he couldve done?

  • if this video kept running for five more seconds superman is made to struggle with unimaginable pain at the hand of darkseid, helpless to save himself.

  • Darkseid got murked!

  • WORLD OF CARDBOARD?!?!? lol SUPERMAN IS THE BEST!!!!

  • 3:45 Crap I think that was my apartment...

  • The punch that killed Doomsday couldnt kill Darkseid. STOP ending the clip at that punch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You cut it short, Sups lost that fight.

  • nice fight!

  • From what movie is this clip?

  • @Viilutaja This is from the last episode of the Justice League Unlimited series.

  • I never thought Darkseid's voice was right for the character =/

  • lol@ batman trying to choke him out.

  • @TheEviIOyo Yeah seriously. Darkseid can punch Superman through an entire building, yet when fighting Batman the most he can achieve is throwing him off his back? Why couldn't Batman just have Superman's powers? He could easily have beaten up Darkseid then.

  • @G102Y5568 Then Batman wouldn't know how to fight either. Supes is a brawler because he's so strong he doesn't HAVE to know how to fight.

  • BTW, when you say Superman "X" darkseid it implies something ELSE, that's not fighting...

  • if superman is really that strong why did he lose to darkseid at the other videos?

  • @mintico Because he was powered down too much in the 90's cartoon series. In general, he holds back but uses it occasionally. His powers are more based on his mind set than just his physiology. His emotional state fluctuates in his solar storage directly to his stress level. The more stress he's under, the more energy he retains from the sun. Starlights can feed his cells like the sun. He no ordinary Kryptonian because he's a direct descendant of Rao the sun god, so he does have godly heritage.

  • @piloneman how do you know that?

  • @discooon I read the comics. And even though I can't afford them all the time, I do some research of my own.

  • @piloneman that comment gave me a nerdgasm

  • @FrustratedSheep LOL Well, thank you very much, glad you liked it :)

  • the title "superman x darkseid" sounds almost like you're shipping them....

  • Supes sounds like Goku.

    That makes him even cooler!

  • I came here from TVTropes.

  • Fuck yes!

  • @3nderoX You and I know how powerful he's capable of becoming, after Superman Prime. But everything BigVEEE, TheZacula and ttomi5 says are just ignorant bullshit. Which is one of the reasons why the movie franchise needs to be revamped.

"superman reboot - how to fix superman" vid does have a good point.

  • That tears it.

I'm pretty sure Superman is Jesus.

  • sounds like Michael Ironside, the actor and the guy who voiced Sam Fisher and General Jack Granger

  • 3:15 Is it just me or is superman's face way too small relative to his head.

  • you think superman needs sizing down what about dr Manhattan hes more powerful than super-man... Hes pretty much a God size him the fuck down jeez...

  • Comment removed

  • cool, thats Michael Ironside's voice.

  • 1:35 did that guy just sacrifice himself to make sure batman lands soft and safely? LOL

  • God, we need to get some golden-age Superman action going. These guys are way too powerful and destructive to be interesting. Golden age guy didn't defend the LAW. He broke it frequently to do what HE considered to be right, which fits right in with the Nietzchian Uber-Mensch. He was strong enough to lift a car, and was bulletproof, but that took effort. A strong enough explosive could still hurt the guy, and he knew he couldn't defeat an army. He wasn't a sappy demigod, he was a hero.

  • Superman enemies are more powerfull, smarter, they are always in the gate of victory but the in last second super(naive idiot) draws power somewhere....annoying, but this is a cartoon, the good always win!

  • Ye know what I like to imagine? After these enormous super-fights, I like to imagine a court case wherein the JLA is sued an enormous amount of money, and they get Harvey Birdman to defend them. Puts a smile right on my face. Anyhoo, it IS annoying that Superman is always 'saving something back'.

  • @TheZacula A pity they are stuck on the clown version of these days. Silver can go screw himself inside a blackhole. Golden Age is something I've only had the pleasure of seeing in old cartoons. Such a man would be much more interesting. Preferably needing to use what powers he had much more intelligently rather than taking a beating from a super strong 'bad guy and then just pulling out the win with a power increase (he stopped holding back *DERP*). It's all strong arm.

  • @BigVEE Aye. Superman doesn't do ANY cognitive work anymore. One of the reasons being a journalist would make sense for Superman is that for a lone vigilante to be successful, they would NEED to be a very good detective, to be able to examine situations as well or better than an entire police crime lab. Annoying how they sidestepped it with 'Derp, x-ray vision!' DC seriously needs to scale his powers way down and his intelligence way up. And for heavens sake get rid of his vision powers!

  • @TheZacula This talk of the old Uber-Mensch makes me wish Superman were just some abnormal human rather than an alien that looks human, gets godly abilities from our sun (among all the types *which won't last anyway*), Earth was chosen among all the apparently livable worlds in their universe, it actually reached earth in a timely manner, etc.

A scaled down version would be refreshing for me at least. But it seems most everyone became 'bigger' to compensate. His weaknesses...

  • damn. supes is a badass right at the end.

  • I love how everyone cuts off the part where he gets up like nothing ever happened

  • I wonder how many people died as Darkseid was punched through those buildings by Superman's Falcon Punch.

  • @Aderath

news reporter: todays casualties was in the thousands today. a new record compared to superman's fight with doomsday...

  • @Aderath i also wonder how long it takes to repair all that damage and at what cost? it seems superman brings about more destruction than good. oh well, hes still cool

  • @Aderath im sure supes evacuated the city as best he couldve done?

  • @Aderath The answer to this question is obvious: Over 9000!

  • @Aderath i think less people than if darkseid had taken over the earth.

  • I love batman...he has no chance against Darkseid but he still fights him."

"Michael Ironside will always be Darkseid...

  • SUPERMAN is frieken' awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MJPETTY7 He's a silly lunatic who finally decideds to let lose and cause massive damage and risk the lives of a bunch of civilians in a self-fish desire to cut lose. If only he wasn't so lame the rest of the time.

  • @BigVEE, Let me guess, Batman fan?

  • @Chimera1591 *decides *loose *causes *risks *selfish

Good God. I wonder about what could possess me to allow so many errors.

As for your question, I don't count myself among the 'Good is Dumb' fans. I prefer something with a bit more class, you see. While we're at it, fuck Goku too.

  • @BigVEE, What are you talking about?

  • @Chimera1591 Goku is shit. Just like Superman.

~The ball is quite clearly in your court now

  • @BigVEE, Why are they shit?

  • @Chimera1591 ಠ_ರೃ

    Why indeed...

  • @BigVEE, I just want to know why you would hate the most heroic figure in American fiction. The guy helped lift America out of the depression and lead to the creation of the superhero genre.

  • @Chimera1591 >implying

Next you'll tell me to revere Mario for 'saving the gaming industry'. *hohoho*

  • @BigVEE, Why do you hate Superman, I'm not trying to get you to like him. You have your preference, I just want to know why.

  • @Chimera1591 Why like Superman? He embodies many attributes I strongly dislike in a character. Naive, unable to truly utilize his gifts *wasteful*, incredibly inconsistent power throughout the years *made up powers and feats that simply infuriate with their stupidity*, 'boy scout' attitude, etc. THIS is the 'ideal' American hero? Some rediculous alien that looks like us, but gets an array of freakish powers from a specific star type? Not my thing. Goku is perhaps worse...

  • @BigVEE You're absolutely right!!!

  • @BigVEE What I like about Superman is his heroic restraint--the very opposite of Lord Acton's" power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely ". It's this lack of personal corruption which makes him seem naive which he is'nt. Afterall,Clark clearly has Lex Luthor's number. He understands evil, but is untouched by it. He"s a man who clearly could rule the world--Justice League notwithstanding, but chooses to serve those weaker than himself --A nobel hero.

  • @sleedolfine15 (Heroic Restraint) You just surely.

He's a grand fool among fools. It's just a wonder if Green Lantern can match him. Their power is wasted on them. This choice of his allows suffering of innocents.

The held back 'reserves' are litlle more than a power-up for a hero without brains to beat those he has no business facing off against. Any real foe could murder this 'man of steel'. Especially with the numerous weaknesses the boy has. He survives on main character status.

  • There is nothing noble about a man so stupid as he. Too dim to grasp the 'idea of evil'.

NOTE: And surviving a blackhole? That's incredibly bad taste. Nothing and no one has business even implying they can do anything more than die against one. On the cosmic scale, these boys are nothing.

And then there's the issues with physics. Catching various objects in a small 'humanoid' as they travel at great speeds. He'd tear them apart long before catching anything more than entrails.

  • @BigVEE Ye know what would be great? Golden Age-type Superman reboot. THAT version of Superman was incredibly different. Not a lucky solar-powered guy, but an alien who, if you weren't looking closely, appeared human. He wasn't a freakishly powerful demigod too stupid to utilize his abilities to rule the world. He was strong, and tough, but though he was bulletproof he wasn't anywhere close to modern Superman's invulnerability. He was just stronger than humans, something he knew and used.

  • i bet like six thousand citizens died from this haha

  • This here is proof that there is no problem with Superman's power levels. The problem is he doesn't have enough villains that can go toe to toe with him.

  • i wonder what the home owner insurance rate is in metro lol

  • Darkseid was so much bigger in this episode than in his earlier appearances, must be the fusion between him and Braniac.

  • who came here from TvTropes?

  • @apusama I did. And yeah, you've got to admire Batman considering his mortal limitations.

  • @apusama I did.

  • @apusama Awesome it may be, but Nice Job Breaking Half The City, Hero

  • @shadowrose8907 good point. ^^

still, it really does add to the world of cardboard idea.

  • flee...

  • Batman is a beast

  • world of cardboard ftw

  • Batman is so awesome, he could've killed Darkseid just by touching him. he just wanted to humor him.

  • and he scores a homerun WOOOOT!!!!

  • what we have here is nine eleven.

  • I loved the fight but I hated how Luthor was the one that defeated Darkseid. I felt it cheapened Superman.

  • Oh God I love this show.

  • i like it at 2:25 he banes him

  • @caretta1960 I admit it, I came here from tropes. Well worth it!!

  • @MrJackk I had seen this before but it is always worth seeing one more time.

  • confession time! how many of you linked here from the 'world of cardboard speech' TvTropes page?

  • @caretta1960

Me-well, I added it to my favorites, and from there since.

  • wow in this supermans full strength is like god shining upon him....

until the movie superman:doomsday came in....then his "full powerr" was more like a little punches.....

  • Hey..... Where's the rest of the fight? Immediately when this video ends, we see Darkseid isn't hurt at all and gets up and beats Superman within seconds! Why was this not shown?

  • Superman Vs Michael Ironside!

  • insane or mad or raged people are always stronger that the regulars.

  • Even though I'm not a fan of Superman or American heroes, I still find this moment to be incredibly awesome. It's the right combination of a powerful speech with a curb-stomp fight of epic proportions.

  • Is Darkseid Michael Ironside?

  • @mortman200

    Yes

  • @mortman200 Yes, and Michael Ironside is God.

  • Everyone is always bitchign about how superman cant lose due to DC. blah blah blah. Hands down, he kicks everyone's ass. And I love it when batman puts his boots and fists to supes face every now and then, but if superman WANTED to.....he would be dead. That is why Darkseid got his ass kicked. even in the old comics when superman was at his strongest, he was always holding back. Piss him off and you will see a Superboy prime power level in superman. Give it a rest.

  • @BigKnGa in MKvsDCU Scorpion whooped that ass.
