Hey ..Like your posts. I have a question a while back tou were selling your gll600 mt. I am thinking about getting one.. Its between that guitar and a Charvel SanDimas Style 1 .. What do think is a better guitar and why..?

I'm in love with the stuff Charvel is putting out right now. It's all top notch. I just sold my Ernie Ball Axis as my SD1 and SoCal are getting all of my attention. My GL600 had way too much treble and snap. It is all maple after all. It looked cool as a mother and the neck was comfy, but had way too much bite. Also, GL bodies tend to be larger than normal super strat bodies and weigh more. As I've been preaching, The USA Pro Charvel's hare quality through and through. The GL looks cool but...:)

Did you sell your Gl 600.? How was the quality of that guitar compared with your Charvel.? I do believe that with an all Maple Body it will be very Bright sounding. But I already thought about changing the Screamin Demon thats in there to something warm like a Dimarzio Breed..

Sold it a week after I got it. Wasn't fond of it. The LTD wasn't bad quality, but the two don't really compare. The LTD felt like an import and the charvel's feel fantastic. They're modeled ofter the guitars from 1982-83. I'd recomend the Gunslinger over the GL600. Quality and feel- wise, the GL could be compared to a Jackson DK2M. The GL axes look cool, but even when I've played the real ESP's I wasn't impressed. The LTD MW600 is better than the GL. There's an axe called "Shaman" check it out.

Yeah I have heard from a lot of people that even the ESP version is not that great. Must be just the way the Lynch guitars are. I will tell you that the only appeal of that gl600 is it looks bad ass. And maybe the Ltd Lynch guitar will never be as nice as the Charvel is. The Charvel is just great. But I think even If I were to get the ESP version I am sure its still not as nice as the Charvel. Its jsut the appeal of that Tiger Body paint and the fact that its a Lynch guitar.what felt cheap

If you're keen on a Bengal finish- Charvel dropped the price of the discontinued San Dimas Style 2 to $699. I'd call a few dealers and find one of them and then have Mike Learn or Dan Lawrence at GMW faint it for you. That way, It's a win-win :)

Or how about getting the ESP tiger body, since the San Dimas style 2 is a Tele. And maybe I could find a Charvel neck to put on the LTD.. Then I would have an original Tiger that lynch had..

just make sure the neck pocket matches the size of the neck. Lynch built his guitar using mightymite parts.

How is this guitar compared to an Ibanez S or RG prestige in term of quality an is this a real Original Floyd rose «made in germany» that stay in tune?

I don't have a prestige to compare it to, but I would take it over a JS1000. Quality is comparable to an ESP. The floyd is great. Check out part 9 of the demo where I do all of the dives. It is a real floyd and stays in tune perfectly.

It's versatile enough for old R&R. It isn't a jazz guitar and the neck pu does not have twang like a strat. It does sound sweet though. I posted a review on harmony central. If you want versatility, look at a used parker fly.

From my experience, guitar center fails to carry most bc rich products. Those which they do carry are BCR low end models which play like crap but look cool & beginners buy them. I doubt very much that GC will ever have one of these unless it is used and a trade in. I'd like to go to a GC and play a custom shop BCR, but that won't happen anytime soon. :(

Yeah I know what u mean by guitar center only selling instruments for beginners,a lot of places are like that.Have u been to music go round? They sell mostly used,or instruments that came as a package deal,I seen about 30 washburn electrics that had rust all over them,looked like a hurricane IKE clearance speacial.lol.jam on.
