Doesn't install on 64 bit XP. No release yet for Mac or Linux. Install process requires the gruntwork of downloading various DRM protection files and validating your copy of windows (which is fine as my copy is legal).

However it says in its ULA that you are required to install spyware and tool bars, and they'll watch if you attempt to remove the DRM and bill you fines if they suspect it.

Not worth your time folks. I was a big Ruckus and Spiral Frog fan, but this doesn't take the cake.

This company is revolutionary! Music is free!

Although the program is very shoddy (it is really based on Songbird which is based on Firefox), you cannot argue with free legal music! It's compatible with everything except for iTunes and Zune! (Hopefully this will be fixed sometime in the future).

music downloads should be available by the end of next week I'm pretty sure. people say its shit but its not... in the meantime just go to any free music download site skreemr (dot) com from the qtrax browser and you get free downloads for now. The sites music download page itself is down to the law suite put againsed them.

Too bad you need to register in order to download. (the Qtrax browser tries to open a java script in another tab, so you need to register from another browser.)

And downloading is an outright lie, at least right now. It should be enabled 'soon' according to them.

And 3 out of the 4 record labels asked to participate said no way.

They lied about not having to register, the amount of songs, what labels are participating, downloads, etc. I'm sticking with BitTorrent until they solve this nonsense.

You can't download yet because, despite what they claimed, they are still in the processs of making liscense agreements. But it should be up soon. look it up on cnn.
