In terms of gameplay on the track, Forza is great for more of an arcadey feel to it with a lot of fast-paced action and intensity. However, for full on racing simulation on a console, GT 5 is the game for fans of that particular genre.

I agree that GT is a fail in some respects but saying that PS3 as a whole needs to be replaced by PS4 is incorrect. Most exclusives on PS3 (Killzone, uncharted, god of war etc.) look great, the same can be said for XBOX with Forza, Gears etc. As such, I have both systems. I must agree that next to Forza 4 GT looks like a mongoloid.

this looks more like an arcade racing game to me but still fun however GT5 is for real driving simulation where you get a real sense of speed and a feel for the car physics so it really depends on peoples tastes they both are great looking games.

First off, in Forza 3, you actually leave black marks on the road when you burn out, second off, I've driven a few of the cars and the performance is dead on. Without a doubt this game is the most realistic racing game. The ONLY thing that isn't as realistic as it should be is the crash scenes. EVERYTHING ELSE IS DEAD ON!!
@dlr113w Not to be a Fanboy But the Physics in Fortsa are Way off.. This probably done to make the game easyer. Just look at the video and see how easy it was to slow down... In real life that driver would have crashed six times. You are technically supposed to press your breaks before a turn because the wheel is straight and stops faster, when your press the breaks during a turn its really 70 percent turning and 30 percent breaking hence wheel out... Im not a Fanboy im just saying....
@JUDALATION I play Forza 3 sometimes when I get to. I have both systems. The shifting and handling in Forza 3 are mediocre. Sometimes the transmission doesn't want to shift when you want it to shift, especially for a manual transmission. And when it does, it's doesn't sync with the car.

@teamate01 They never said shit about 2006, or 08, or even 09 the only release dates its ever had is March 2010 (date for Japan only) that was the only delay and November 2-5 2010 (now the official date). Its was only confirmed about 3-4 years ago that it was even being worked on GT5P you could say was an early Beta and GT PSP was a side project.

@xXMNM808Xx Go play GT5 at Target, it doesnt look that great. All they've been showing us is CG and photo mode shots of it. The gameplay graphics arent very impressive at all in GT5, that's a simple fact.
It didnt look good at all in prologue, especially with those awful looking environments, and it hasnt improved in the final game. Youll find out for yourself soon enough.

All these retards think that GT5 is better. First off, in Forza 3, you actually leave black marks on the road when you burn out, second off, I've driven a few of the cars and the performance is dead on. Without a doubt this game is the most realistic racing game. The ONLY thing that isn't as realistic as it should be is the crash scenes. EVERYTHING ELSE IS DEAD ON!!

@dlr113w Not to be a Fanboy But the Physics in Fortsa are Way off.. This probably done to make the game easyer. Just look at the video and see how easy it was to slow down... In real life that driver would have crashed six times. You are technically supposed to press your breaks before a turn because the wheel is straight and stops faster, when your press the breaks during a turn its really 70 percent turning and 30 percent breaking hence wheel out... Im not a Fanboy im just saying....

@JUDALATION I play Forza 3 sometimes when I get to. I have both systems. The shifting and handling in Forza 3 are mediocre. Sometimes the transmission doesn't want to shift when you want it to shift, especially for a manual transmission. And when it does, it's doesn't sync with the car.

@teamate01 They never said shit about 2006, or 08, or even 09 the only release dates its ever had is March 2010 (date for Japan only) that was the only delay and November 2-5 2010 (now the official date). Its was only confirmed about 3-4 years ago that it was even being worked on GT5P you could say was an early Beta and GT PSP was a side project.
