wonder what happened between russel and the hillstrands especially Andy , before the firing of russel, andy seemed hell bent on gettin him off the boat!! Then in season 6 "Wild Bill" just lets the hillstrands know he hired russel, like it was taboo or something, wtf do they care who russel is working for !!

the first boat to use this method of gettin the crab is gonna make the rest of you look stupid.. the old ways not the best way... otherwise you wouldnt be using a vacume on the fish you transferr around the vacume doesnt care if your a fish or a crab... use your head man...

next question why waiste time and money settin feeler pots. why not send down unerwater camera and see the crab.. then drop all ur pots on them if u insist on fishing with pots rather than modifieying your vacume to suck them up

@tinman842 Not that I've ever been there, but I heard that visibility in the Bering Strait Is close to non-existant. Whatever the reason is, crabbing is a business and if using an underwater camera (And i'm sure it would have to be a durable one) would help them, than they would certainly use it.

i dont understand why you dont pump the crab on the boat just like u pump the heron.. get a longer vacume and put props on it and drive it like a underwater rover.. land rite on the crab and suk em up cameras and lights.. way safer. and faster etc..
