  • I did this mod to my parkzone mustang with the ap05 and a 6a esc (all I could get), i origionally used the dragonfly batteries but stopped using them as they are a bit heavy. I created a small lead to put two standard 160 ma 1s batteries in series which was alot lighter. There is a link from my video to the build page

  • love the orange prop !!!

  • what motor did you use to power it? also, could i use a 4 bladed prop to make it more scale? subbed!

  • Very nice version of, "Down on the corner!"

  • @ib422000 thanks for watching

  • thumbs up if you think 1 person is jealous

  • sick

  • How you modify it? Care to share?

  • @austinkhor not my mod. read the description

  • what brushless system did u use

  • @andreadlujan sorry , not my system or plane. I just filmed it

  • what are those black rods under the wings?? and where did you get the brushless system for the plane??? thanks -chris

  • @CDeLeon791 The "black rods" are carbon fiber pieces used to reinforce the wing so it doesn't fold under high g-force loads. The wing loading is double that of the factory setup plus the speed is many times more, so just imagine the loads on that poor little wing when slammin' the sticks around! The motor, speed controller, propeller, and battery are all aftermarket items carfully selected by size, weight and voltage.

  • Hey guys. I just upgraded my micro J-3, and posted a vid response. It doen't have the power of Dom's P-51, but it's a mod nonetheless. Also, I'm a noob, so no aerobatics :).

Norm from Racetech is holding the parts for me (He has a new customer thanks to your recent vid, lol), and I'll be bringing her along with my p-51 to Kamikaze :). Still haven't received my P-51 brushless upgrades btw.......

  • @SuperBlindpilot Right on, thanks for dropping by Racetech. We'll see you at Kamikaze this summer for sure

  • nice i dont like the music though

  • @YourFriendlyMe no? don't like CCR or the Goo Goo Dolls LOL

  • @warderseeker goo goo dolls?sorry idk that kind of music

  • Love the new credits, great little plane too.

  • LOL htey are fast enough stock to fly indoors, that must be mental!!!

  • That thing rips. Incredibly maneuverable.

  • qhats the setup?

  • @mrkmotocross snot sure I'll ask the builder/pilot

  • Very cool! Made me order the parts XD.

Also waiting for my F4u corsair and my MAAC card , and I'm there :)

  • @SuperBlindpilot right on, going there today, drop out anytime, once card is on the way, you're good to go. You can email them for a number or confirmation email too

  • Crazy COOL!!!!

  • @kydawg1 thanks man, cool little planes

  • Too cool, fun to watch video man, thanks for sharing :-)

Can you get a bit more details on the motor and esc used? Thanks

  • @Skydive4ever thanks man, going to get more video of this thing, and I'll ask him the setup

  • sweeeeet!

  • @BellowingBeaver thanks man, nother good flying day, going right now

  • @warderseeker me too, to hell with Easter dinner..... time to FLY!

  • Man that is really moving mate and the vertical is mental and the rolls ;-) thumbs up.

  • @startazz thanks man, rolls were very quick of it. Get a bunch of those out this summer and other ultra micros at the independant event, aka Strykerfest lol

  • that sucker rocks ! haha, nice one, I have a Parkzone Sukhoi 26m, changed prop to a GWS 5043, 1s 240 mah cell (Hobbyking Zippy battery and 1.5 mm prop adapter), should do fine but crappy weather (rain, wind...) prevents maiden. Hope nice weather will come soon. Thumbs up for this vid Ronin !

  • @beverke7 thanks man, that setup sounds good, this one is a ton of cash I think.

The new sukhoi are supposed to have a decent setup, hope it's better than the 4site

  • @warderseeker , setup I used did very well, finally maidened the Parkzone Sukhoi 26M micro last Sunday, had the Flycame one2 on my head but a bit too high and therefore the plane only pops up every now and then, so no good footage yet LOL, oh well it was great and it handled the wind very well, will be even more fun on a calmer day for sure. Love these micro birds, maybe I will be looking into a small brushless warbird (Cox type of thing) in future as well, lots of fun too.

  • great little mustang..i bought a harbor freight, never got it off the ground rog..it would always spin out on take off.

  • @desperado4846 thanks a lot, not sure what harbour frieght is? like a store that sells some RC planes sounds like. Hobby Lobby has lowered their price on ultra micro planes, little bigger only I think, 2.4 radio included, at 59 bucks wtf

  • @warderseeker are you serious?im gonna check it out . they have free shipping until the 12th of this month..thanx keep you posted..

  • Brushless micro p-51 mustang... So your saying the perfect micro plane lol.

    Love the orange prop. J

  • @sNstRflyEr I dunno about the pefect micro, but pretty powerful. He also had to reinforce the wings with carbon fibre to hold all the weight. Wont' fly as slow as it did before at all. Hover my stock one in the wind

  • Holy crap, that thing looks like it had tons of power, i have a UM P-51 and it looks wimpy compared to that one! Anyway great video as usual!

  • @ramis182 thanks a lot, damn expensive upgrade, cost more than the plane did LOL

  • ha, i miss mine, my tail broke and i'm waiting for some foam safe CA from hobbyking

  • @RcFlyBy1 Sometimes you can get away with just scotch tape, but ya their kinda easy to bust, mine is bad too, same with my 4-site

  • @warderseeker yea but its wierd there's nothing to tape, the horizontal stap came off but just that straight across

  • @RcFlyBy1 i would make a balsa wood tail. i made one 2 weeks ago, and 3 days ago it was kinda windy and i was coming in for a landing, it simultaniously hit a low pressure zone and a gust of wind. so it cartwheeled for about 5 feet (1.5 meters). the fuselage was destroyed, so i'm making a balsa fuselage as well, and the tail was completely unharmed! i'm proud of my handiwork :)

  • That was pretty cool. That looked like it had allot of power.

  • @Jeremybaland ya speed looks close to full size parkzone mustang lol

  • wow

    really nice^^

  • @MegaFondue thing moves along pretty good. I'll get some better footage soon
