Your CPU is too weak. Not to mention it has a useless 1mb L2 cache. L2 cache is important for games. The Cry engine tends to use both CPU and GPU a fair amount. Obviously this game is old now, and most weak ass systems can handle it. That card would tear that type of game up, so clearly... without doubt. It points directly at the weakness of the CPU.
Quad Core @ 3Ghz is the minimum. Make sure you have a decent amount of L1 and L2 cache as well.

Completely fake. A 32-bit computer does exactly the same; the video is showing high settings vs. low settings regardless of 32/64 bit. The 64-bit patch brought out for Far Cry changed things like draw distance and textures, and even that was just a sly way to promote 64-bit processors because the changes had nothing to do with 64-bit capabilities.

It's funny that 64 bit isn't a big deal now in gaming. Today's games don't have obvious differences if you are running it on a 32 bit or 64 bit OS. The hidden difference is that 64 bit can use more RAM which helps in loading and removes stutters in framerates. I wish developers use 64 bit to in making it perform better than 32 bit or at least look better.

I mean, nearly all of those "features" are already in the 32bit version of FC, the only differences are the new textures(they don`t need a 64bit CPU, sry AMD) and a bit more work put into level design(changing the CastShadow parameter to ON isn`t that hard).

Maybe 1 hour a day and the other hours i am on my computer i make HL2 video's (with rendering faceposer and models) So i think it is a good gaming card (better than a Geforce 2 xD) But i make video's and even Maps/Models to games (private, not offical.) for my friends and me or maybe upload it...

And explain this... I have 32bit and at 0:56 it looks the SAME for me, and the helicopter gone?! That's even more fake! The helicopter is supposed to fly on that, so if this was real, 64bit does that the helicopter doesn't fly? Go and die noob!

FAKE AND GAY!!! You just had higher graphics on the other 64bit video!!! I have an Intel Pentium 4 32bit and it looks BETTER than the "64bit". It's up to your video card for the graphics. 64bit is just faster than 32bit

It's funny that 64 bit isn't a big deal now in gaming. Today's games don't have obvious differences if you are running it on a 32 bit or 64 bit OS. The hidden difference is that 64 bit can use more RAM which helps in loading and removes stutters in framerates. I wish developers use 64 bit to in making it perform better than 32 bit or at least look better.

Ahh good old days, i remember, that my graphics on 32 bit was the same as the one they showed us here as "64" bit. I think that they lowered settings on the one they called 32 bit just to make a difference.

always remember, the monsters can't hurt you. when I got aware of that I beat the game and the expansion in a pair of months. on medium difficulty. Was a bitch!

Does AMD really think some people are so stupid to believe this? I mean, nearly all of those "features" are already in the 32bit version of FC, the only differences are the new textures(they don`t need a 64bit CPU, sry AMD) and a bit more work put into level design(changing the CastShadow parameter to ON isn`t that hard).

AMD fan. But I hated this little stunt AMD tried to pull. All this had almost nothing to do with 64bit and could have been done with 32 bit.
Yes their are things that 64 bit could have helped in the improvement, but really the difference would have been negligible.

I dunno i think they're 2 completely different games. But yeah 1 has a better story and that sells it for me. 2 feels a bit dry and all though theres this big opne world, i don't feel like i should be there what with everyone shooting me on sight for no reason.
Crysis feels more like a sequal to Far Cry, tropical island, stupidly accurate enemies etc.
