Its Tyler Seguin, he plays for the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League, look him up, he's right up there with Hall with a vastly inferior supporting cast, like Hall, he is 6'1 185 lbs, Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin are mirror images of each other in stature, height, weight, skills etc...play in the same league, keep a very close eye on him.
Hall is a Bure type player, Kabanov is a semin type player, Seguuin is a Yzerman/Datsyuk type player, these are the 3 elite forwards in the 2010 NHL Entry draft, for close in talent, but why take the Russian who might bolt back to russia like Radulov when you can take the 2 Canadian forward who are just as skilled if not more so, who wont bolt to russia or anything like that right ? Kabanov will go top 10, maybe top 5, but not 1st overall.
Kabanov is not the next Ovechkin or Malkin, sorry to disappoint you guys but he is more of a Semin or Datsyuk type star in the making but he's not a generational talent, he has 12 points in 8 games played for Moncton, hardly close to generational talent numbers, Tyler Seguin is playing with even less talent and has 17 goals in 14 games for Plymouth and overall 30 points in 14 games, Hall has 32 points in 15 games, Hall and Seguin are both better than Kabanov, they should go before him in draft.
Unfortunately you are wrong. Kabanov is definitely alot better in terms of hockey. Kabanov may go 2nd in the draft because the NHL teams may be sceptical that he will actually come.
What about the other players ranked third, fourth etc Example: Cam Fowler. If Scouts were worried about him coming over to NA he wouldnt be ranked second overall.
I would say the Canadian player would be selected first. Hall has great wheels and I honestly think he will be a superstar in todays game. Kabonov has the potential as well But I would take Hall.
is that Tarasenko in the end of video.

Is this really Kabanov? Maybe he is like the mold of Ovechkin
hardcorecanucksfan 2 years ago
If he was "the next Ovechkin" He would be the clear cut #1. He's ranked #2 behind Hall.
PavelBure96109 2 years ago
From what Ive seen he's a Hybrid Ovechkin/Kovalchuk mix. Maybe ranked 2nd now, but it may change very soon.
hardcorecanucksfan 2 years ago
Sadly,He's not going 1st. Hall's going 1st.
He's better than Kabonov.
PavelBure96109 2 years ago
I beg to differ.

Good for you.............?
PavelBure96109 2 years ago
No one knows who's going 1st overall yet. There's a whole year of hockey to be played. Even Kuznetsov has the talent to go #1, but the head?

That;s ridiculous. If teams were worried about Him coming over why the fuck would he be ranked second overall? Retarded logic.
PavelBure96109 2 years ago
Yeah I'm saying he may be second instead of first because there is a possibility of him staying whereas Taylor Hall is guaranteed to play NHL.
tuberALEX 2 years ago
What about the other players ranked third, fourth etc Example: Cam Fowler. If Scouts were worried about him coming over to NA he wouldnt be ranked second overall.
It's really that simple.
PavelBure96109 2 years ago
I understand what you mean, and I agree for the most part..
I just wanna make clear that sometimes there is a very big diff between first and lets say third. For example with Ovechkin's draft year.
And although I completely agree with you I want to present this scenario;
Two guys, with the EXACT same hockey ability enter NHL draft. One is from Russia, the other is a Canadian. Who do you think will be picked first?
tuberALEX 2 years ago
I would say the Canadian player would be selected first. Hall has great wheels and I honestly think he will be a superstar in todays game. Kabonov has the potential as well But I would take Hall.
PavelBure96109 2 years ago
He can be "the next Ovechkin" in another sense, you know.
