  • The rude audience needs to be punished

  • OM G BEED!!

  • i don't know why :/, but, i don't like that kata i don't fell the bushido... sorry u.u

  • @brasshandmartialarts ... I agree , her tempo was pretty fast . I studied with Charles Earle in Providence , Rhode Island . He was a 10th Dan who studied at the Uechi dojo in Okinawa in the 60`s . His tempo was medium and his movements were almost always relaxed . I noticed that most senior students do not " fly " through their kata like this person did .

  • @sweetfly66 As of my knowledge, late master Earle was 8th Dan. 10th Dan has not yet been awarded to a westerner in Uechi. Sensei Mattson is 9th Dan.

As of tempo - it's a competition version of kata, it has to be a bit modified for appearance sake :)

  • dunno this style and kata well at all but nice perfomance ; very quick hands indeed. maybe the puches lacking some power, but,,,definitely dan level stuff.

  • She looks technically very good at this Uechi Ryu kata. This is easily a Dan level performance!

  • on my comp her belt looks brown-my bad

i thought to my self she is hectically good to be a kyu grade

keep training and you'll get your sandan :P:P

  • Well done Iva, congratulations from the Mexico OKIKUKAI.

    Diego

  • Sorry to inform you, but she's a Nidan

  • Yes, Uechi ryu, although performed a bit "staccato" compared to what one normally sees.

  • Uechi ryu?
