I disagree with those who are trying to say Christina is not in the same class as the Andrews sisters. The Sisters were harmonizing with each other while Christina was harmonizing to recordings of her own voice so naturally the Sisters will sound a little better in that regard. Individually, I think Christina could out sing any one of the Sisters. They are two amazing acts but Christina's a lot more fun to look at.

I disagree with those who are trying to say Christina is not in the same class as the Andrews sisters. The Sisters were harmonizing with each other while Christina was harmonizing to recordings of her own voice so naturally the Sisters will sound a little better in that regard. Individually, I think Christina could out sing any one of the Sisters. They are two amazing acts but Christina's a lot more fun to look at.

Great job dude. It is fun editing different eras or opposite and finding a central theme.
I did one with the music group called the cramps and the Riflemen. Then I did one with all the old stars form the 30 and 40's dancing to ELO. NICE job.

It's a crime to compare them. Each era with their own caractheristics... Andrews sisters is pure class. Aguillera is pure sexuality. Andrews sister were the face of the world II in that time. Aguillera performs with a usual coreograph of 2000.

Aguilera took a good song, sexualized it, and made it all about her; I found it difficult to watch, but I suppose it's typical of the times. The Andrews sisters performed it with class and their usual tight harmonies. This is not their best version, though - there's a better one where they're in uniform, dancing and performing with a bunch of guys dressed like GI's. Great stuff.

Neat production. I especially liked the Rosie the Riveter representation and the diner scenes. Musically, Chistina and company can't approach the lighting fast harmonic synchopations of Laverne, Maxene, and Patty; but few, if any ever could.

She is giving credit. The whole song and video is a tribute to the Andrew Sister. Each replication of Aguilera with different coloured hair (red, blonde and brunette) represents each one of the sisters, who had those hair colours.

Well , Christina's song is definitely inspired by the Andrew sisters and the sound of Swing bands of the 40's.
They could harmonize wonderfully.

Let's be fair to the Andrews Sisters. This clip (Andrews) is not intended as a music video. It was a filmed recording of them on the radio. In their videos, they put on remarkable performances.
Christina's video is incredibly hot, displaying great talent. Obviously inspired by and probably a tribute to the Andrews sisters.

I think Christina does have a good voice, but the harmony isnt there. Ther Andrew sisters made those great harmonies WITHOUT all the modern tech that Christinas' producers obviously use and they still sound better :P
