I quite enjoy me some dancing girls. I've heard plenty about the games this year and I've played the hell out of them. I don't need another 4 minute discussion about the game to justify its place on the GOTY noms.
I never thought I'd meet a gamer who would be upset about some beautiful dancing girls in their GOTY nominee videos. Really? They dressed in theme. The New Super Mario video had them dressed in cosplay for god's sake. It's not like they don't belong.

Why bother us with 3-4 minutes talking about the game and why it should be a nominee when we've already heard it all before. We've played these games ourselves and we've heard countless hours of talk about them. No need to talk heavily about the game here. Just briefly explain what was enjoyed about it.

But i do agree with your statement and the only difference between l4d and mw6 being how 1 is alot more main stream over the other. But i have a question, is it known who was not happy about l4d2. pc or xbox gamers?

I don't know, I'd prefer not to give GOTYs to sequels just original games like dragon age, demon's souls, borderlands, batman arkham asylum, Infamous, Prototype, UFC, etc, these games already had their chances with the first ones, the sequels just add new stuff and extended gameplay, nothing else.nothing else.

game of the year? not even a close contender. L4D was an amazing game, but L4D2 released just 11 months after the first should have been DLC. It simply isn't different enough from the prequel and theres no connection to the new characters at all.
