@4ustrider Well thank goodness you weren't one of the judges when it won the European drum solo video comp for 16 or under. This one was strange anyway seeing as how it was actually a backing track for a nu jazz thing, and was part of a file that complimented a track in Romania. But thanks for listening and I'll tell judges Bill Stewart and Jack DeJohnnette that a youtube guy named 4austrider disagrees with them lol.

its really not about how skilled you are. the way i see it is its all about being creative. sure he has fast rolls but you cant do anything if your not creative. so dont say hes "good" im not saying he isnt a good drummer hes just creative.

Actually this was accompaniment for a track I had already recorded as part of an upcoming CD. It was never intended to be just a drum solo, but it kinda took on a life of its own, and some guys like Joe Morello and Johnny Rabb were nice to say how musical they thought it was. Pearl Session drums and cymbals are Zildjian Custom As, including the 14" high hats.
