I have a Korg AX30G since the 1995. Also have a Morley Power Wah that I bought because it was on sale and there's no Dunlops available. What effects should I go with next? This vid has too much treble and little mid and low range for my PC speakers.
@sndgarden I use it and it sounds great, but I have it setup different. I plug it into a tube power amp and use it as my preamp, turn the 2 tube, boost, and solidstate knobs to the middle. Sounds nothing like in this video.
Eu tenho a Boss GT10, Digitech RP-1000 e a Zoom G9.2tt .
@Noodles37UK yes it has Chorus (3 different types including stereo) 2 flangers, 2 or 3 phasers, 1 octaver, Univibe, and more space like sounds like ring mods and oscillators.
@BkkCheesepie Thanks. But it may be the ME 70 by Boss I'm going for. My brother has the 9.2tt and says he's still trying to get to grips. Modulations seem divided into 2 seperate fields.
@OMG793047003 u need a "Printer USB cable" , which is not included in the oiginal packaging.
once u plug it to ur console and the pc , ur PC will recognize ur console as a soundcard and ure ready to record with any program. original Cubase program is included in the original packaging.
@Zhorellski no , it doesnt have a drum machine but it has a in/out port for looping machines which u can connect any drum machine or loop machine into it and use it as one of the internal effects.

only players who aren't that fluent use pedals of this nature. It sounds good for a bit but you really don't want to use something like this to play a whole gig. Echoes, Bouncing super delays......tapping.....This isn't a slam....I just encourage players to concentrate on their techniques and fretboard articulation. We all have our favorite "popular" guitarist and I've yet to hear any of them with effects like this. This type of pedal will make you lazy in practice.
Recording above 44.1 is much more popular now that DVD and Blu ray are more abundant with audio. 44.1 could be comsidered outdated for those media sources because they go much higher.
@ordio1 The point of sampling above 44.1 kHz, even if you can't hear 22 kHz, is that this allows the DSP to process a bigger amount of data. That means way better quality in the elaboration ;)
I own one of them, but basicly I haven't played with it too much, & being honest I bought it like 3 years ago; anyway I want to hear your experiences?!, is it worth it?
Don't bother with the floorpod plus, me and the rhythm guitarist from my band had one each, and I don't rate them at all, I use boss now and he's selling his to buy one of these zoom G9.2tt pedals which is why I've checked this vid out, but each to their own, just my opinion
@rikstewart1979 As far as I understand Boss pedals use inferior sample rates, only cd quality 44.1khz. Where as the Zoom G9 uses 96khz samples. Superior sound quality. No point recording at higher than 44.1khz if your using Boss pedals.
What about LINE6 Pod X3 LIVE? I'm in doubt: don't know which one is better. Can someone explain the differences in matter of sound quality, I'm losing hopes.
@SerpentisCrucis The line 6 x3 live has the best modelling and realism, but
slightly less effects choice - I have one and have tried many zooms, boss pedals and digitech - depending on what you are after you will have to find out for yourself! personally I think the pod series are the best, but then again I havent tried this particular zoom pedal yet. (proud x3 live owner)
@ShredderBenjamin Thanks for your answer : ) mainly I play metal, so I need "full" and rich dist tones, as well as a hot and noiseless clean. But I also like to make experiments and love to search unusual stuff. Also, I need a nice home recording option and the chance to go directly into a mixer, both live and home.
I tried the x3 live many times and I like, but it costs much more than this zoom, so I was wondering if I could avoid spending 200 euros of difference in vain.
@SerpentisCrucis have you considered trying the xt live or floor pod plus? They both have top quality modeling... they don't have all the features of the x3 but are still both worth considering. Either that or try eBay, there should be a few there. Don't get me wrong, other brands still offer quality units such as: digitech rp500, rp1000, boss me70, boss gt8, gt10, and of course the zoom above. I personally think they will all work for you, but make sure you choose which will serve you longest.
@ShredderBenjamin Thanks, your words are precious to me. I'll have to try, but at least now I know whato to expect from them and how they're oriented. Thank you : )
@Guiataristmarshall01 I've tried both and chose the boss.. Personally the Boss had more user friendly features and I felt slighty more responsive. Also I found the Instruction that came with the Zoom to be poorly written in English where as the Boss was easier to understand (if your no FX savy). the GT-10 has a looper Zoom doesnt. But the best advice I can give is try them or even better have some one play the guitar while you tweek the pedal. both give you a lot of bang for you buck as it were
@svanurmg i own a Zoom G9 , it doesnt have a looper but the Delay can be set up to 16 seconds and u can hold the delay for asmuch as u want.
and u can also use 2 different delays at the same time. for example u can record a 16 seconds riff and Hold the delay, and play another patch with 0.5 seconds delay over it.
I have this and love it. it takes some tweaking but you can get very realalistic guitar sounds unlike a digitech which is very obviously a prossesser and thin sounding I got this to just use for fx and recording but the sick engl tone has me hooked and I just use my marshall on a clean setting for power just be careful with the ennergizer accelerator knobs because if you yurn them up all the way all you get is mud

The fractal axe fx does cost a pretty penny and is extremely high quality so if u have the funds do purchase it but to recomend a digitech rp 500 over the zoom g9 is ridiculous. If you're a metal head and love killer distortion I promise u that u will never get that type of distortion from anything that begins with rp.with the g9 you get awesome distortion with excellent tonal clarity at any level of gain. this is a supperrior affordable multieffects pedal.
If you don't have alot of cash to spend,I would but an rp 500 long before I'D buy this zoom g9.2. But if you have the cash, buy the fractal axe fx ultra. There is no equal, unless your a pro with unlimited funds. There are things you can do with this zoom that you can't do with the rp 500,but I have seen and used this zoom, and it sounds terrible to me.Just my opinion-PLEASE DON'T FREAK OUT.
id say zoom.. but! you must to hear all of them by yourself, but my first options wold be vox or zoom, digitech definitely no... in my opinion... the distortions of digitech sound good but no AS good, i like much mor the gt- whatever number of boss than digitech, but i have the zoom g7.1ut, i replased the tube and my god it sounds awesome i have a video in my acount, so im thinking maybe ill sell it to get this beauty :) and vox... we all know that those are awesome :)

whats the point of recording with higher than 44.1 khz. if your guitar sounds like a toy using this pedal?
blagadagtok 1 year ago
unrealistic as always
indeliblepurpose 1 year ago
@indeliblepurpose The demo sounds are really awefull on this video.
I've got the pedal and the amp sims are VERY authentic. FAR better than the competition.
Really a AWESOME pedal. Plus it's a third af the price of it's competion.
Recording via usb is in 16 bit though. You tube sound is also compressed. in realtime you DO NOT have ANY jittering /artifacts. VERY VERY SMOTH SOUND.
Super good dynamic and feel. The amps repond on how you pick. This allows for very dynamic playing.
