I'm 16 and I've been playing accordion for about a year and a half now and guitar for three and a half years, and it still amazes me that I can play some quasi-fast runs, but I have no idea how you do this. How do you play such fast runs? My fingers just won't move that quickly no matter how many times I do it slowly. Вы самый удивитльный игрок аккордеона! Скажите мне как вы играете очень хорошо! Я люблю музик француский и русский.
@StaddenMcFadden There is only one way to achieve fast tempo: To practice endlessly. You will reach the so called "plateau" at which point you won't be able to advance much. At this point people throw in the towel. But human nature is wonderful and especially when you are young I can assure you that with time if you work hard you'll advance. Good players are sort of "slaves" to their instruments (not me - I have a full time job in the industry and not much time for music...)
Do you know "Cancion Mixteca" by Jose Lopez Alavez?
Please try it! Millions of mexican will listen and practice that song, so you have to post with tutorial steps to follow you. You are a great accordion musician. Thank you!
Your skill is inspirational. I'd love to someone of your caliber in my neighborhood to learn some pointers from. Thanks for generously sharing your music! Play on. ~~Wishing you all the best!
You are a most beautiful musician, I love this piece as i played it for my exam a few years ago. A BORN NATURAL, I SAY.. I would love to see you playing CHARDAS by monte? long and happy life to you x
Thanks for watching my video and for the compliment!! I think that I used to play this Chardas in my teenage years OK I'll play it again some time probably in the next couple of months...
As a former accordianist - I've never seen anything like it - such great bellow control and mastery of a piano accordian keyboard. You are truly talented. If only I had learnt to play as superbly as you.
Thanks for the feedback and the kind words. I'm right now at home listening to the original Tony's performance (a CD I got from Amazon:"Tony Murena - fete musette").He plays at 200 quarter notes per minute and my tempo is 212 a little bit faster but not much - approximately 5% faster: I play 163 mesures in 138 seconds and he plays 162 measures in 143 seconds.

Amazing!!! I like your touch because you reflect the music trough your "prism" and that makes this waltz different...

I am a musician, too. I am a pianist, and have heard many, many performances of this piece. Favourite!!!
You know? I liked it because besides the technique you have, you transmit the feeling, essence of music! Just amazing!!
