EZVi update the firmware to defeat DSi 1.4 firmware

Hello, I've got the problem that I still got the black screen after starting the EZ-Flash card... Don't know what to do?

ok but what if i don't have any dsi lite or dsi xl v1.3 around to upgrade my R4i ?

isn't there any other way .. maybe a ready software that i can put in the card and make it work ? my firmware is 1.4.1

v15 is only for HW 805 not 705, if you have a EZ Vi 705 use only v14 firmware. You can check the HW by viewing the settings menu.

wait aince v15 bricks ur ds and not so sure about v14 or v13 would it be safe to just update with v12 until the make the v15 firmware stable

@NinjaDucky69 u bricked it my frined. go get urself an acekard2i. and the reason it got bricked. the newest firmware is unstable so it bricks ur flashkart. im still looking for the oldest firmware that passes 1.4

@MicroLight15 Vi is much better then the V Plus - vi is futureproof - and if someone finds out the header byte that keeps the dsi in native mode... we are totally in!

2. click software on the left, download the firmware

3. put the nds file in ur card

4. do as the video does it

5. enjoy

you need to put the card into another ds lite or ds do the update then put it in your DSi

So if you udate to 1.4 before you update your ez card it won't work? Mine just says init. file system and nothing ever happens. on my card I have the kernel, and the firmware update... nothing.

Your DSi(1.4) will not recognise an ez flash with old firmware, as far as i know.

you will need an other DS to update the file system i guess.

I know, but I'm talking about the people who updated 1.4 already. They would need access to a DS/DSL. That is not a good solution compared to just a regular flashcart firmware update.

the only way you can upgrade your flashcart is through ds. that is, if you don't own a supercard dsONEi, but they still have yet to come out with a release. luckily, i have a job and am now purchasing an ezvi. (damn you nintendo dsiware store....)

This fix is incredibly unrealistic! You need a DSL to play your DSi? If you have a DSL you really don't need to fix your DSi, you can just use the DSL.

It'd be like saying the best way to fix a hole in a flat tire is to have a spare tire handy, why fix the hole when you can just use the spare?

Looks like I'm gonna sell my DSi and get a DSL if Acekard doesn't come up with anything better.

well don't update your dsi till you have updated your ez that way you won't need a ds/ds lite or dsi with 1.3

he is running an application which updates the bootloader. Afterwards, it works on the Dsi because it has been updated.

The icon of the EZ-flash I Saw it changes because apparently it uses some hack based on the game THQ's Tak. I have plundered the picture of the video, and with a bit of GIMP, there is obvious TAK's face and that puts "TAK" and "THQ"

What is this?
