I saw them in Hollywood around 2000. The best tribute to VH ever. They were the reason I joined two different tribute bands. I've always wanted to do entire cover catalogues. Was able to do it in a Sabbath and a Kiss tribute.  I was also able to thank the boys of Atomic Punks personally when my band opened for them about 5 years later at the Galaxy in Santa Ana, CA.

@Luckums135 You're right about what you said. They also toured Japan in 1989 and Australia in 1998. The 2007-2008 tour may have been the USA and Canada only. I think someone asked a question regarding this tour, but I don't remember.

Really really amazing. I used to get djs to play these tunes in little pubs in the '80's. I thought I was the only one who liked these obscure Van Halen tunes. 25 yrs later, I find out all you other people dug them too. How awesome. The Atomic Punks blow the current VH out of the water. BTW, too the guy who complained about the snare, I agree, but ALL small clubs make the snare do that. I used to do the circuit. All small rooms turn a snare into an ugly box sound. Anyhoo, Kudos to these guys.

I think Ralph has contacted Van Halen multiple times. Perhaps Van Halen will release an album with David Lee Roth soon; hopefully it will contain all new material. Unfortunately, both Ralph and Russ are no longer with the Atomic Punks.

You're right about Arnel Pineda 's vocals supercharging Journey. I also felt the same way in 1997 when first hearing Ripper Owens with Judas Priest.
