She has since stated that it came to her in a dream, where she was in a restaurant with some friends and the song came on and they basically said "it's your song!" I don't know if you care or not, but I found that interesting :)
Wow, anyone who says that Kimberly's version is better is obviously deaf. I mean, Come on! Kimberly sounds like a man most of the time! Alana is amazing(:
@MsVanityVengeance I listened to both versions. And I do prefer Kimberly's version. Some perfer the deeper voice. I like the mature sound Kim gives the song. This version just makes me picture high school. Bur this version is very pretty.
@heavyrocknova You made me curiuos, so I have listened to the version of Kimberly and it is very good (and her high tones are - I think-better) but I like this one too. Why such a strong reaction are you that big a fan of Kimberly ?
@JanMelet I have both cd's and i can tell you, Alana is a great musician and songwriter but not a singer, she pretends to be a rock singer but her voice doesn't help her, kimberly is no a great musician, but she has the pipes to be a better singer. Listen Alana Grace - The other side and Kimberly Caldwell - say love and you will see..

The cd's good.I don't like 21st century generic production personally,but the tunes hold up.You can get it from her facebook account.I saw her 6/21 opening for Jeff Beck.She and Jon the guitar player were really fun to talk to post show.She's a good kid, and I wish her the best.
I have never even heard of her, now I wanna rush out and buy her cd, I only found this because Kimberly Caldwell does the song too, Alana is awesome a great new talent, is her CD in stores now?

Kimberly Caldwell did a cover of this, and it's not nearly as good. I didn't realize this was an Alana Grace song until now. Much much better!! :D
