  • I don't understand how videos like this are supposed to move us forward. Total waste of time.

  • LMFAO

  • Is he wearing eyeliner? XD

  • XD

  • This vid should be titled Terry Milewski/cbc/Leftwing get owned by Harper.

  • Is there a question in this reporters rambling speech? Luckily the reporters mission of damaging Harper was a complete failure. Nice try CBC.

  • LOL

  • @dana00022 I have seen it, its an old quote. Do you know when he made those comments and why? Too increase education and Health funding he will raise cooperate taxes by 2%. The same as all G8 contries and still lower then most. Take a good look at what the "conservatives" have done. Giving Parliament made up figures for airplanes, Losing our spot on the U.N war council, Not allowing the public access to information that should be ours. I know where I stand and why do you?

  • Milewski is abusing his position as a journalist. How can you have any fate in the CBC when they permit him to use this Media Machine to make polictial points for the social climber Micheal Ignatieff. Shameful Milewski ... you should be fired.

  • @CanukSteve I think the real truth is that Terry Milewski is fed up with a govt that controls the message that media gets...to an extreme. We have never had such a controlled govt. This is why the current lashback on Vic Toews is extremely hilarious and refreshing. The internet is not a controllable thing....and the world is not as controllable as these yahoos think it is.... I won't be surprised if, by the end of this majority, we end up with a Mulroney-type disastrous defeat...

  • This is a good example of how the CBC and Terry Milewski ask questions that are loaded and meant to embarrass Stephen Harper, and then gives the liberals nice easy questions.

Also, this shows the mental ineptitude of an apparent supporter of one of the leftist parties, choosing to use the most trivial and childish method to insult, rather than knowing the issues and commenting accordingly.

You do yourself and Canadians a disservice.

  • @propsRtops yeah but reality also has a well known liberal bias.

  • At 0:22, Harper is thinking how he'll have CSIS annihilate Milewski if the conservatives gain supreme command on 2 May.

  • pretty chickensh!t of the page not to allow harpers response

  • DONT COMPLICATE THIGNS

    ANSWER THE FUCKIGN QUESTION

holy cow id rather here the annoyingass chicken squak then hear his literally sickening excuse of a leader's mouth and body spew out bullshit, MOVIN HIS HANDS to make his pathetic fed up excuse of a response sound 'credible'

  • Thats really too bad. I always thought politics involved hearing every side of the story. Why is this not seen as propaganda. I swear I've seen shit like this in Russia, North Korea and Nazi Germany. I'm not even a harper supporter but this isn't right.

  • I love Terry Milewski! My favourite CBC reporter.

  • @cherryberry360 Well Terry is quite neutral as a reporter, no supposedly bias or anything from him or any reporter from the CBC.

  • Funny, but the real response would have been better.

  • Why didn't you put his rebuttal in? If he's so bad you should have put in his response and laughed at that

  • lol

  • Everybody knows Milewski is owned by the Kremlin.

  • @Unclemoparman Do you even know what a communist is?

  • So ... all of your videos are meant to bash one person...and all you did was replace his voice with a Chicken clucking...what exactly are you trying to get across here? It surely can't be that your clever...

  • Yes, it is satire. The people who posted this video have a political agenda which is to make Steven Harper and the CPC look bad. Most satire has a strong political bias. I could easily post a video of Ignatieff and insert a pig snorting for the audio, but its just such superficial nonsense. And I don't need to because I can demolish any Ignatieff talking point in about 3 sentences.

Humour is often used by shallow thinkers in place of reason, thought, and intellectual argument. Buh bye!

  • @bcandatree So you think it's fine that our incumbent PM dodges questions, even in an election?

  • @BoredomCorner I think that the people who are lying right now are the media outlets and the opposition parties (who always have and will always detest Harper). For instance, the media has completely fabricated the entire "Harper" doesn't answer questions. You saw him in the scrum after the debate. Does that look like a man who has any trouble answering reporter's questions? I'm betting you haven't gone to a Harper rally. I have. He doesn't dodge questions and he doesn't need to either.

  • @BoredomCorner Here is another example of how insidious the media (CBC) has become. The rally that I went to was in the 2008 election and it was packed. A very large room, filled to brimming and LOUD. Cheering, chanting, etc. The CBC literally reported the EXACT OPPOSITE of what happened. They reported that the room was small (lie), that few people were showing up (lie) and that it was "subdued" (lie). I was there, I know. The CBC is not a news org. they are a Liberal mouthpiece.

  • @bcandatree The CBC is a national news organization and has been since the 1930s. You only complain because they have journalists who don't play cheerleader to any one party, much less the one party you clearly cheer for.

  • @3baxcb sorry man but the cbc is bias. and i have no problem with it i don't want harper back in but harper has such control over the media notice how mike duffey and pamela wallin both retired ctv journalists have seats in the senate now and everyone knows how bias the sun is . the cbc has no choice to lean one way to try to even it out theres no such thing as unbias journalism all you can do is read all the sources and then its easy and amusing to find out whos full of shit

  • @clarkejamin If it's bias against being submissive, then that's never a bad thing for any news organization. Duffy and Wallin are puppets now with a lot to lose if they ever though about some of the principles they preach but fail to practice. As for Sun media, I wonder how low they can get with attacking other news outlets who do their best not to pay attention to it.

  • @3baxcb 'they have journalists who don't play cheerleader to any one party' -- You are living in a dream world! The sky is not blue, the sky is not blue.

  • @bcandatree Sun Media is the one with all former PMO spokespeople trying to pretend like they're not an political influence. That station "cough, cough" make conspiracies about an opposition member just for ratings' sake that no self-respecting news station would ever do. CBC and CTV have journalists who are more legitimate and honest than the wannabes of Sun Media (or is it FoxNews North?).

  • @3baxcb No. No PMO spokspeople at all actually. Just people like Ezra Levant, Brian Lilley, David Akin, Theo Caldwell... all very professional and all are doing very well. Instead of blindly disparaging the people involved why not tune in. Sun News is about as biased to the right as the CBC is to the left. The difference being Sun TV News has to compete for viewers in order to survive. CBC just sucks and gulps at the trough no matter how few people watch. Sun TV is going to do well.

  • @bcandatree Do you even watch CBC? Just making it up as you go along?

  • @3baxcb 'Do I even watch the CBC'... Jesus titty fucking christ... I have done my utmost to eliminate my exposure to the CBC, but try as I might it has been the ONLY option for news on TV for my entire adult life. So yes, I have had to.. been forced to watch the CBC like everyone else for about 30 years. CTV and Global are watered down alternatives, but they suck to be honest. I avoid getting my news from TV and find the web and blogs and newspapers (read 3 per day) a far better source.

  • @bcandatree Hey, do you take that mouth to church or what? Did someone put a gun to your head or something if you didn't watch? Who forced you? Parents? Lost your controller? Couldn't change the channel or turn the TV off? Sorry if I don't really believe what you're saying because it sounds a bit over the top.

  • @3baxcb I'm an atheist and I wouldn't waste my time in church. It's all good. I have my station (Sun News) and you have yours. The difference is that I pay for both stations, but I only want to support one of them (Sun News).

  • @bcandatree Problem is that Sun News has trouble acting like actual journalists and needs better inspiration. How about you consider other people who still prefer a national broadcaster? We pay way more for defence and health care and such.

  • @3baxcb 'trouble acting like journalists' - I don't think so. If you actually had to pay for the CBC your cable bill would be $500 per month. They are an over subsidized, bloated institution that consumes $1.2B tax dollars per year with zero accountability. Here's my idea: Take the 1.2B and give it to the entire canadian broadcasting industry in the form of a ratings based grant. Those stations with more people watching get more funding.

  • @bcandatree CBC has been a legitimate broadcaster for nearly 80 years and adheres to the standards of broadcasting and journalism. 1.2 billion is a drop in the bucket compared to what other national departments get and they don't have Rex Murphy or Rick Mercer (hardly a bore at all). CBC, CTV and Global don't waste time on the air with immature bashing of other stations like Sun Media. I personally enjoy news broadcasters who actually report the news.

  • @3baxcb There is really no station in Canada with the depth of broadcasting that CBC has. I listen to CBC Radio One very often....and the truth is that they interview from all parts of the political and social spectrum. There is really no radio station that provides this depth. The value is almost immeasureable, in regard to the education of Canadians about current issues, both social and political....and the variety of independent music is awesome. I can't listen to commercial radio.

  • @paulfornasier What about CPAC?

  • @Redcarpet01 I listen mostly to Radio.... CPAC does it's part also...but it is limited to politics. CBC is much more well-rounded in regards to Canadian culture, politics and social issues. CBC Radio One has some very excellent shows... The Current is one of my daily favourites....with Anna Maria Tremonte as the host.

  • @bcandatree Exactly...hey....maybe you don't pay for CBC...and I don't have to give any of my tax money for jails and jets / defence or to corp tax cuts / incentives.....or to pay down the deficit created by Conservatives.... That sounds like a good deal to me. Let's work on getting this implemented.

  • This is some stupid shit. Typical of the left... had you actually included Harper's response you would know that it was him who did the owning. But hey, why let facts cloud your opinions, right leftards?

  • @bcandatree it's called satire, rightfag. But like most rightfags you have no sense of humor when someone is poking fun of the idiot you support.

They're all idiots, by the way.

  • @bcandatree Um, WHAT response? Harper hasn't given a single honest or direct answer yet!

  • @BoredomCorner Honesty or direct answers are hard to do for some people. Believe me, bcanadatree is pretty hysterical much of the time. Sun News won't have a place left on their ass to kiss when he's done praising them.

  • That was awesome!!!

  • @theUKcanadian. Considering your name you are more then likely living abroad? You do know what Harper thinks of you then right? He will be eating something all right! A double helping of humble pie.

  • @tomjackson986. I am not an economics student, I was a history student however. If you need to spend more money you raise taxes (which by the way the liberals have already stated they will not do). Considering you claim to know how money works I don't know why you think cutting taxes and increasing debt is a good thing. An 8 year knows better then this, unfortunately a Reformist...I mean pretend conservative seems not to be able to gasp this concept.

  • @jason8897386 They might actually grasp the concept but are deliberately cutting revenue and spending beyond our means so they have the excuse to further sabotage our state of the nation.

  • @jason8897386 Yeah, tax them right out of business, that'll make you alot of money...cutting taxes encourages business growth. The better business does as a whole, the more tax you can collect as a whole, even if the rate is lower. Look at what happened with the royalty reform in Alberta 1.5 years ago, scared local and foreign investors away, lowest drilling activity in the province in decades. They moved over to BC and SK where the royalties were lower, allowing them to make more money...

  • @jason8897386 Have you completely missed the Ignatieff - "I will not take a GST hike off the table" video?

  • @jason8897386 Have you completely missed the Ignatieff - "I will not take a GST hike off the table" video?

  • On election night, Harper wins majority, and eats chicken wings an beer. You left wingers are such sore losers.

  • @TheUKCanadian The left being anything left of extreme right-wing. Yep. We know.

  • For backing out of a one-on-one debate, I like to supply the yellow paint.

  • Harper looks like a coward - plain and simple. He probably realized about three seconds after he threw down the debate challenge to Ignatieff that he would get thrashed but good. Ignatieff accepted Harpers challenge, then Harper cut and run! [Cue one big chicken clucking...] You couldn't buy comedy this good anywhere... LOL !!

  • @Blackie7424 You got any yellow paint? Gorillas bite the ass to show that someone ran away from them in a challenge. But then again, gorillas also can get along in their society.

  • @Blackie7424 I would have like to have been the one being challenged. I'd keep asking why Harper chicken out like that.

  • too bad the cons will still win a minority, all the other parties are an even bigger joke

  • Terry Milewski is a punk . He would not speak that way to a Liberal prime minister or 99% of people but he takes advantage of the situation here . If Milewski spoke to me that way i would kick the shit out of him .

  • @imN0Ttheone Yes, but you're not running for anything.

  • @imN0Ttheone I'm sure you would.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

  • Comment removed

  • is that a question or a speech.

  • @redmoonspider The questioner needs to document the history behind the question for viewers who may not be aware of Harper's fearful back-peddling.

  • @linuxluver Harper's smart enough to realize those other clowns want their faces on camera so they can talk about: the chiiiiiiiiilldren and single mommmmms and our first nationnnnnns peoples and minorrrrrities all the other bullshit the say to try to get elected.....did I mention the chiiiiiiiildren?

  • What a stupid video.

  • he much be a liberal or ndp to said that

  • LOL

  • "there's one cartoonist that has you saying 'cluck, cluck, cluck'"

    god i love canada

  • lol i like the ending..

  • Just knowing Canadians and how selfish and stupid they really are, I'd have to say being a Canadian resident that the people on here that are for the Liberal Party or NDP really just think they are entitled to more, and at the end of the day if you have any brains we cant afford more taxes, and more spending? We are almost bankrupt!!!

  • @TomJackson986 You seem to be rather selfish yourself, not caring about those who can't afford higher taxes and paying for their own healthcare. Speak for yourself when it comes to Canadians being stupid.

  • @AlextheTitan What more do you want from the government? Cant get up an do it yourself?

  • @TomJackson986 I am young yet as a child I was already doing charity work to raise money for a school for less fortunate children in India. Do not act as if you know me fool.

  • @AlextheTitan I'm not acting as If I know you.. ? So your a child, did I get that right? I know one thing about politics its the difference between being independant, or dependant, and if you really want the government to make more programs and spend more money on you and others than fine, thats your opinion. I take my country for granted and I want it to last for thousands of years.

  • @AlextheTitan .. I honestly dont care at all who you are, and what you believe. Your not the only person who has donated to charities or done good things. We are all different and we all have different points of view, but at the end of the day I'm not selfish, I want them to quit spending and quit giving handouts, I want them to quit substadizing people and I want them to quit raising the minimum wage, because its killing jobs and making everything EXPENSIVE! Its making it harder to get a job

  • @TomJackson986 What about those who weren't given a chance at success like the majority of us in this country were. We have to support them, even if it means fewer luxuries. People here think they are poor because they can only afford basic cable. The minimum wage needs a raise because costs of living rise and those who earn very little need higher pay to compensate. I will gladly take a hit so that they can put food on the table.

  • @AlextheTitan Everybody is given a chance at success, I know so many people who were born poor and did well for themselves, I was born in a poor area, all my friends were poor growing up.. Most of these people couldnt afford a car, or bus tickets let alone food. Now the cost of living goes up every time you raise the minimum wage, because then it becomes harder for corporations/ businesses to hire min. wage work. We have the highest min. wage in America, it puts us at a disadvantage.

  • @TomJackson986

So the solution is to turn Canada into Georgia or Louisiana? Or, what you really mean is that Canada should engage in a race to the bottom so that all wages are so low that no one can afford much and we'll turn into Argentina. Yeah, great solution.

The fact is, is that Canada has one of the lowest corporate tax rates in the world. Funny how low-tax-types never mention Germany, the European powerhouse, or Japan, both of which have higher corporate tax rates than we do.

  • @calvintoronto Thats a good thing, we need corporate tax rates as low as possible because corporations are more likely to invest where they have incentive to do so. You can get rid of corporate welfare with a simple tax cut.

  • @calvintoronto At the end of the day its more about the economy as a whole, not the government as a whole. The government doesnt have anything to do with making our economies function in Canada and the USA, if the govt shuts down our cities still completely function normally, and theres a reason for this. If you jack up corporate tax rates than your just automatically killing jobs, its completely proven 100%. Trust me if you raise them than thousands and thousands will lose their jobs.

  • @TomJackson986

You're wrong about corporate tax rates & jobs. Over the past ten years in the US declining tax rates has NOT translated into jobs. (It was true that it appeared to be the case that it was from 1960 to 2000.)

In Canada, business investment declined at the same time the combined provincial and federal tax bite was being reduced from about 42 per cent at the turn of the century to the current 28. It is expected to come down to 25 per cent next year.

    And it's the same everywhere.

  • @calvintoronto Whatever, say whatever you want.

  • @TomJackson986

    Sure, I will.

You are wrong, like most Conservatives, about the economy. And you won't admit it.

The FACT is that corporations take money out of our system; they pay disproportionately lower taxes and have a knack for passing on their failures to Joe Ordinary....like YOU. But we hear the "lower the taxes!" mantra so often people start believing it's a good idea.

It is not. It's a lie, and it is wiping out the middle class--like YOU--in this country.

  • @calvintoronto Your an idiot. Im in school getting a major in economics. All Im going to say is over taxation and government programs are two things that society can do without. We dont need a bigger public sector, and we dont need more government. Liberals like you are destroying the country and people are slowly starting to understand that. An NDP has better economic principles than a liberal.

  • @calvintoronto What do you possibly want more? Why do we need to be over burdened with more taxes. You are wrong.

  • @TomJackson986

No one IS saying "more taxes." Harper has spun his "cut corporate tax" mantra into, weirdly, an argument about avoiding raising taxes. No one is talking about raising taxes. I'm not.

Harper is proposing yet another corporate tax CUT. I say NO. And I've outlined my reasons, clearly, why doing so will benefit only the rich and not the middle class. The end.

  • @TomJackson986 How else are you going to get your free health care or education for children or roads being maintained and other public services? Tax cuts and overspending in the last five years has led to a record deficit under the current government which has refused to take responsibility for such poor judgement. The last Tory government took nearly ten years to have a deficit that high.

  • @AlextheTitan We dont need a bigger more intrusive government we need a smaller one, and we need less taxes on everyone! If my mom wasnt taxed 47% of her income, she makes 80 000 before tax, she ends up getting a little over 40 000. My step dad before taxes his business makes around 1 million a year, he has to pay over 200 000- 300 000 dollars in tax under Harper, meaning he has too go without 4-5 hard working employees, or 10+ minimum wage workers. (remember these employees pay taxes)

  • The people have their heads up their asses, they insult and make fun of Americans like its a sport. They believe they are better than pretty much anyone on the planet, and they really take for granted the fact they have a universal healthcare system (even though thats a norm in like 80% of the worlds countries. I dont honestly understand being a Canadian myself, that we cant just get a job and pay for our own healthcare.. but thats just me.

  • @TomJackson986 What about people who already barely make ends meet?

  • @AlextheTitan I'm the complete opposite of selfish, I dont want the government to do anything for me, I want them to cut back and stop spending money! I dont think Im entitled to anything. I am a Canadian so I can say whatever I want about the stupid country. Read what I said. The people who can make ends meet should be helped at the end of the day, but should we be helping them anymore than we are now? Can we honestly afford it?

  • @TomJackson986 Buddy noone's asking you to stay...just leave and shut the fuck up. Seriously your're probably only like 2 hours from the border, pack your bags and go to the U.S if you love it so much

  • @roncool11 Im sorry that offends you so much, Im still a Canadian at the end of the day dumbass. I just think people like you are what makes it such a peice of shit. Learn that we pollute 30% more per capita, we are in more debt per capita, and we are set to gain more debt per capita. And if we get a dumb liberal in office than we will be in more trouble, and the corporations that hire me and you well they will be at a disadvantage also.

  • Canada is such a fucked up country politically, the people are semi-educated, they predetermine where you will end up in society based on your school performance, so the people are at a disadvantage. Even if a Canadian wants to go to University and become a teacher and a doctor, if they dont have the schooling for it they'd better completely forget about it. The parties are messed up there are four choices, and three of them are left wing, and one is moderate (hardly even right of center)

  • @TomJackson986 What...The...Fuck, are you talking about. You think the U.S schooling system is better? Buddy I got dozens of athletic scholarships to the U.S and I STILL could not afford it. A $10,000 scholarship doesn't seem as great once you realize the costs PER YEAR are $40,000. The U.S systems forces underpriveldged people to basically have no chance of going to university/college. In comparison I now only pay $4000 a year in university fees because of my 2000 scholarship.

  • @roncool11 'The U.S systems forces underpriveldged people to basically have no chance of going to university/college.' Actually this is not true, the government in the USA is in charge of student loans at this point, and there is affordable and expensive schools in the States, but at the end of the day Canada picks their students based off past performance, and in the States its based off of an SAT and or ACT test. Both of our systems are fine. Canadas is mega substadized

  • Why did the chicken cross the road? To avoid a debate.

  • Behind closed doors, IGGY and the Liberals were given an opportunity to have a one on one debate with Mr. Harper and the Tories but they declined. Once the offer became public, the Liberals changed their stance and decided they did, in fact, want a one on one debate - but by then it was too late. Once again, IGGY and the Liberals use spin and lies to try to win back Canadians. Go back to France, IGGY - no one wants you here.

  • @bradleypaul10 I can see why right wing radical cowards like yourself don't want him here, but most of us do not think that one person is less Canadian than another. Why don't you leave, say to Afganistan.

  • @bradleypaul10

If they were offered a debate behind closed doors but declined it there (big if) then it is just as wrong to call the liberals out and offer it publicly, especially if the conservatives were only doing it to make them look weak. If both sides decided they wanted to do it it would be done.

  • Please post the original version without the chicken noises. i'm sure his response is even funnier than the chickens.

  • Please post the original version without the chicken noises. i'm sure his response is even funnier than the chickens.

  • I love how Harper can't manage to mention the other parites without saying coalition. As if people working together was some how antidemocratic.

  • @SQRL13 Did you mean to say 'parties' or...'parisites' maybe?

  • harper is a douche... Wait thats insulting something useful...

  • hahahaha

  • "You're not a chicken. You're a loud-mouthed schnook!"

Had to get that out there. But honestly, I'd also like to know what he actually said. Off I go to look it up.

  • Is it just me or does anyone actually want to hear his response?

  • @juzielli I wanted to hear his response since i don't like my news filtered by simplistic Liberal parasites .

  • @hanksnow82 I almost posted an angry reply, but then I figured there would be no point wasting big words on your tiny brain.

  • @juzielli There is no sense getting angry because i aptly described you .

  • @hanksnow82 You attempted to describe Liberals, actually. I don't affiliate myself with any one party, and I certainly wouldn't be so ignorant as to make an unsubstantiated and hyperbolic blanket statement about everyone who agrees with the Conservatives. How ironic that you accuse Liberals of being "simplistic" -- a word that seems much better suited to yourself.

  • @juzielli Simplistic and parasitic are appropriate discriptions of you .

  • Here is the man who believes that the worst thing to happen to a democracy is an election.

  • @georgekostaras too bad hes still going to be in office

  • @georgekostaras I hope our soldiers remember that on Election Day, because they're risking their lives to bring a democratic system to Afghanistan with elections included.

  • @georgekostaras i guess ur not tired of going to the polls...Im happy with the Conservatives, atleast there more honest and not worrying about legalizing drugs

  • @importfighter The conservatives are not honest. They unconsituionally shut down parliment, undid environmental protection laws in place since the founding of Canada, he has no policy to assist Canadian cities, doesnt' aknowledge climate change, his government provides no benefits to people with children and is allowing our healthcare to be privatized. Sounds great to me

  • @importfighter lol the conservatives are more honest? Are you mentally ill? Any you're tired from what? wasting 1 hour or less of your time every two years to vote? Really that makes you so tired?

  • @georgekostaras Sounds like more like the words of a tyrant to me. For tyrants, elections are the worst thing for them, especially when it democratic.

  • I was expecting a real answer. You got me. I wonder what he had to say... I'll have to look it up.

  • ahhahahaha, way to go Terry!!

    Harper got called out!

  • heehee

  • Watch the look on his face as Terry Milewski is asking the question. If looks could kill....

  • @somewhatlongdong yeah i noticed that too, the expression on his face. that evil looking little smirk and then he gets really uncomfortable when he doesnt like the question.

  • I think that was his real answer

  • I think that was his real answer

  • Awesome, but can we hear his real answer too?

  • @emperorinsaino, Silly Citizen, Tories don't give Real Answers.
