  • I managed to work out the boat plan and built a practice boat from card. Soon I will move on to aluminium and I'll also be building a putt putt engine as well. To improve the tutorial you could upload a higher quality plan to your 'putt putt think tank' website for people to download, then it wouldn't be pixelated. It also took a bit of time to accurately change all the measurements into mm, but that doesn't mater. Nice videos- thanks!

  • @ag4147 Good idea. I'll work on that. Let me know how the aluminum boat turns out.

  • where can I find a higher quality boat plan? i tried printscreening the video but it is too pixelated.

  • @ag4147 I just tried screen print again and it is not great but good enough. Did you have your monitor set to best resolution? I photoshopped a small amount to improve photo quality. I used poster print and increased the size to 20" OA for a tougher test. It is not important that you follow this plan exactly. It is important to have both sides of the boat equal. Hope this helps.

  • This is historic, Daryl! We've all marveled as you've created your masterpieces worthy of museums, but I think few dared to to follow. The very details that you think are just common sense are the ones that would bring us to a screeching halt. With these really helpful videos you've created a path for a new generation of enthusiasts to go from admiration to co-creation. Thanks for taking the time and effort!

  • Verry good !

    Merci

    Michel
