@dakotamar the 858 has a free floating firing pin so if it gets stuck forward due to dirt or grime it can slamfire. It is not a huge problem though.

do you ever have to worry about slam fires with this rifle? I noticed she released the bolt when it was still on the concrete table. Had my first slam fire with the sks last month, luckly it was pointed down range.
