@colpoys1 Actually they are lovely animals but should rather not be kept as pets. Every year many are abandoned or given away because they are rather demanding.It is a hunter and you will have endless complaints from your neighbours.

@Faerral its happy! people give them everything. i mean sure they are not in the wild, but they get what the need, and obviously this cat is not hurt in anyway... this beautiful serval is happy. just look how he or she plays with what ever shes got!

@xXM0MENTXx I don't think you can judge his/her happiness. Yes, cute, yes cool and unique, but this guy/girl is used to have 10-30 sq km of hunting range, not being in a house. The wild will remain the best places that animals that haven't spent generations of breeding as human companions belong. Why corrupt nature?

Strangely enough the average lifespan of most wild cat types is only 5 to 8 years.. Whilest a domestic cat usually ages up to 18 years... (average ~14 years) which is more than double.

Expecially when you let your cats outside when its sunny and not to cold there is no real problem in having a wild animal tamed.

@Haizme No, they aren't dangerous. If you domesticate them, they will be just about the same as regular cats. Dangerous pets would be more like tigers and such.

No they are not fully domesticated. However serval owners have compared them to large, energetic house cats. Although some wild tendencies remain.
