I think the song stemmed from the complexity of Megaman games... You need one item to defeat one boss whose weapon you could use to kill another boss who has the item you would need in the first place... Things just seem to form a circle which you can't open from any angle, or so it would seem. I understand this frustration because despite I've completed MM2 and MM4, I can't proceed in MM9...

Well, I did beat galaxy man but my problem is that I can't quite complete Jewel Man stage. On the other hand, I can make it through Concrete Man and Splash Woman stagesbut I don't have weapons to defeat bosses.

I'll just wait till MM9 is made into a rom for PC and then I can use my keyboard. Much, much easier to play with it. It's more natural to move the character with right hand and jump and shoot with left. That, and the fact that I wouldn't have to use my thumbs.
