Crazy, you don't try to jump on the clouds with the skateboard! I remember playing that game like it was yesterday! And every cycle of stages it became more difficult, with moving platforms and more fires, and things like that ahah!

This game epitomizes what a great game really is!! its a balls the Wonder Boy rom doesn't work on the emulators (controls are all messed up)

Used to spend hours playing this with my friends, seeing who could get the furthest!!

This was my favorite game for my C64 like 15 years ago when I was 5-6. Sure, I had a NES but the C64 was still better in my opinion.

Pretty good and playable conversion, but if you spend some time with it, you'll realize it needed more levels. Not bad for a quick play though.

Hudson Soft developed Adventure Island, the game was an adaptation of the arcade game Wonder Boy, which was ported to Sega home gaming systems under its original name, except for the North American release of the Game Gear version, where it was called Revenge of Drancon. So basically, they are the same exact game just different names, and slight variances from one another. :)

Excelente version para la epoca!!! tal cual uno de los mejores de x64 como dijeron: dibujos grandes, rapidos y es muy fiel al arcade! muy bueno la verdad.

One of the best exambles about the power of the C-64 with good programming. the sprites are big and fast and colerful. The gameplay is like the arcade. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try using a different emulator.

I used have a similar problem using WinVice, i learned that sometimes you need to click the first PRG line when opening the rom, or it wont load.
