  • Really enjoyed that! (from a native and current Seattleite)

  • This is great! From a former Seattleite...

  • this is rly cool

  • The footage of Vancouver looks to have been shot in the 1930s; we get a quick glimpse of the Marine Building, which opened in 1930, but the Lions Gate Bridge, which opened in 1938, isn't seen as the ship winds around Stanley Park.

  • Second 12, is where the Lions Gate Bridge is now ,on the left,

Second 24 ,Its not Puget Sound but English Bay.

I guess back in the day ,No one will know the difference, but I do.

This is a Great old film,

Please check out a 1949 film of Vancouver & Victoria.on my Channel

  • Excellent!!!!!

  • This is amazing! I love what they wore back in the 20's and it is amazing that I can pick out monuments and places though the area looks completely different.

  • Fabulous old footage. Makes me SO wish for the Vancouver of yesteryear.

  • 4:26 Isn't that the Smith Tower toward the right?

  • Thank you!!! This East Van kid loves to see

my dad's Vancouver! It was a very special

place before the concrete, highrises and

    street crime came!
