  • It was about this time when Elvis or the people around him said enough.

    We are taking time off.

    Disappear.

Ease off the drugs, get in shape and relax.

Come back in a couple of years.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • thanks

  • THE KING IN ALL HIS GLORY

  • I attended this concert. Our seats were directly behind the stage (unfortunately!) A hot summer night in July, 1975!

  • @hayesman76 I was at that concert too with my Mom and brother, We had seats behind the stage. I was only 6 at the time and can only recall the girls screaming every time he turned around to acknowledge the folks behind the stage. I still have the souvenir book.

  • Wish his last TV concert was filmed right here.

  • Love that suit.!!!!

  • Love It!!!! Rare and unedited, its just like i have heard, the audience never stopped screaming and that made me feel like i was there in the middle of an Elvis concert!!! Wow to me thats so COOL!!!!!

  • ELVIS is "THE KING" period! No moniker needed.

  • God he looks like hell.

  • Neither the footage nor the sound give credit as Elvis deserve. I did not finish listening to it due to the jumbled sound.

  • I love this vest/suit. did he only wear it a few times?

  • I remember where i was when Elvis died,my husband,my ex husband now, when we heard on the radio that Elvis was dead,we were overwhelmed with such a feeling of loss and the fact that the king was dead,we turned the lights off and lit candles and played Elvis records alnight,it something u never forget, thank u for playing these videos, there all great,,

  • @loungelizard5000 I will reply to u once and once only. U are a goof. Do u not think, as if anyone cared, that people are capable of looking back through your posts and seeing who started it? Why don't u do all of the viewers a favor and stay off YouTube. This very reason is why there should be mandatory intelligence requirements to have an account. U do not know anything about anyone on YouTube & u are probably those things u call others. Don't go away mad, just go away. No one likes ur bs.

  • I wish someone would kick idiots like that loungelizard5000 off of YouTube. People come here to see snippets of an Elvis home movie and all you see is that moron lizard attacking people.

My parents can remember the day Elvis passed away. Although very young, they said it was such an event that when you heard the news of his passing, you always would remember where you were at. Elvis was so handsome. I watched lots of his movies on the classic channels yesterday and he was a great actor too.

  • I hope someone has more footage of Elvis in this type of venue and they post it. Most of the footage from that era, sadly, would probably be this quality. 33 years ago today since we lost the greatest entertainer of all time.

  • I mean., think about it... even his name... "Elvis" is goofy as hell, yet he made it cool somehow! I don't know what magic this man practiced but it sure was effective!

  • he was ONLY a man and as such he was subject to the same things that sometimes happen to us all . the last few years of his life was spent in illness and when he should thought of his self and took time away from the public and got well and then came back to us BUT no he thought he owed us his ALL and we were greedy enough to take it . Thank you - Elvis As for me I love you for it but do miss you .

  • when you do 300+ concerts a year who can do that and give it a 10 on every show?????????????he was human but he loved to perform at is highest level

  • Willie Nelson has been doing about 250 shows a year and will be 77 this April. Elvis and Willie. Whatever it is, they have it.

  • @berto01 Willie Nelson is the biggest no talent joke ever perpertrated on America. Who cares if he does 6000 shows per year? Don't even mention Elvis and lol willie nelson in the same breath. He sounds like a cat getting teeth pulled with no anesthesia. Willie has something...you're right....it's called a pot head cult following. He's the Rocky Horror Picture Show of music.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Then why did Elvis record more than one Willie nelson song? You retarded, ignorant, disrespectful fuck. Grow the fuck up, moron. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • @loungelizard5000 If you think I am retarded then why ask me a question, dummy? Looks like ur the retarded one, skipster. Just because ur parents are ashamed of you, a circus side show freak boy act, is no reason for anyone else to be ashamed. What can we expect from a potty mouthed high school dropout who lives in his mom's basement and stays high on dope? Yeah, I know..you don't do drugs right? Sure. LOL @ loungelizard, aka someone who gets avoided like the plague. Anything else, skipster?

  • @loungelizard5000 OBTW.....Nelson, like you, is the scum that sticks to the bottom of boats. Yeah, he has a drug cult following as evidenced by your fondness of him, but the fact remains he can't sing, is a pothead like you, and his face would back up an eight day train. Yeah, I know ur dumb, but you make up for it by being stupid. Have a nice life and next time try and pick a different reply from ur grab bag of stupid that you carry around. You dumbed us all down with that rollicking one.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE How is SexxxiKimber87 treating you you sad, lonley, pathetic, jerkin'-the-gherkin-on-youtube, shut-in LOSER !!!! Bwaaaa-ha-ha-ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha h !!!!!!!!!!!!! LOSER !!!!! Pathetic, sad LOSER !!!!! What a fucking loser......Wow !!! Fucking douchbag.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE And Elvis did at LEAST 3 Willie Nelson songs that I know of. Willie is a GREAT songwriter. Sad that a dumb, weirdo pervert that subscribes to a bunch of cam-webgirls is too sick and dumb to realize facts. Weirdo loser.

  • @loungelizard5000 Ur just jealous because they won't have anything to do with ur dope smoking self. Remember, people avoid you. I feel ur pain, skipster. It comes thru the keyboard in your ignorant replies. Next time, let us know beforehand so we can grab a Dr, Pepper and some popcorn for the show. Ur funny!!!!!! Ignorant, but still funny!!!!! How's that wagon you pull with square wheels working out for ya'? Haha.....didn't think anyone knew that now, did you? Pss...ur mom told me.

  • @loungelizard5000 LOL..dude ur a riot. Lay around all day smoking dope and then come on YouTube to get smacked around. You think that telling someone they are making jokes about you the exact way they are doing it is a buzzkill? That's like me whooping ur ass and you giving a play by play to onlookers while it's happening. Were you born this way or did it happen when you started to carry your sack of stupid around? Don't get your panties in such a bunch because people avoid you, Homer.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Get smacked around ??? What, by a retarded shut-in that has to jack it to strange cam-chicks on youtube videos ??? You sad, pathetic pervert. You are fucking SAD and EMBARRASSING. I cringe at your lame comebacks and just feel sorry for such a dim-witted douche. Just sad and embarrassing. How lame are you? You actually have to add fake camgirls to your profile??? What's next? NAMBLA? You sick, lonley, sad, lame, pedophile FUCK!!! Get a LIFE you sick weirdo.

  • @loungelizard5000 Ur slipping....those last few were not ur best material. There's always the option of buying that 99 cents jokebook so you can "win." The seats are getting empty in the loundgelizard comedy hour. Please buy that jokebook so the investment we made in the candy, soft drinks and salty chips will be worth it. OBTW....I didn't want the large cup of Dr. Pepper. Next time pay attention to the audiences request. Roll credits.

  • @loungelizard5000 Maybe if someone else replies to ur ignorance, it will stop. What is ur problem anyhow? You know what, I don't care. Just stop what you are doing and quit ruining this video. No reply needed or wanted.

  • @lovelygiantkilleramI I didn't start it. No reply NEEDED or WANTED. Don't support weirdo pedophiles please.

  • @loungelizard5000 I lose???? U think this is some sort of competition? Dude, c'mon.....ur a lightweight with lame replies that all center around four letter words. Buy a 99 cent joke book, read it and apply. You don't have to always appear as the YouTube dunce in the corner with a potty mouth. Someone has to tell u that before you realize it??? LOL Now get me some more ice for my Dr. Pepper and an order of Nachos from the concession stand before ur next show. Roll credits.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Whatever, loser, pervert, sad, lonley douche. SORRY you have to subscribe to internet cam-chicks to get your weirdo jollies because you can't get a girl in real life. SORRY LOSER !!!!! Weirdo douche. What a sad, lonely, weirdo douche. Sad, really. I feel sorry for you........lonely douche......YOU LOSE, sad ass-douche.......your profile says it all........weirdo pervert......child-molesting weirdo........you are SICK!!!!! You pedophile mutherfucker !!!!!!!!!

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Also.....sorry that you are a weirdo pedophile. but there is help for you, you sad, lonely douche-bag....just search "Help for Sick Bastards" You MAY be able to begin a normal life and not always be a weirdo , sick-fuck pedophile all your life like your profile page admits you are. Sick fuck!!!!!!!. Seek some professional help. PLEASE!!! Before the world finds out you are a sick pedophile and rapist. Weirdo, fake-cam-loving-girls WEIRDO !!!!!!

  • @loungelizard5000 Ur slipping....those last few were not ur best material. There's always the option of buying that 99 cents jokebook so you can "win." • @loungelizard5000 The ignorant fucking hayseed it you you dumbwad ham&egger. Elvis never recorded ANY Willie Nelson songs. Always on my Mind was recorded by Elvis in 1972....then about 15 years later Nelson recorded it. The fact is that Nelson recorded a few Elvis songs BUT MANY YEARS AFTER ELVIS RECORDED THEM..So next time before calling people names get your facts straight you fucking dumb hayseed.

  • Elvis is a BLESSING to this world! The ones who say crap about him,are afraid of themselves and afraid of what they know NOTHING about.AWESOME video,Thank you for sharing

Elvis you are loved with every beat of our hearts

  • Can't tell if Elvis looks more like one of the Three Amigos or my Oktoberfest waitress in this video! Seriously, much love to Elvis and great to see this up on YouTube!!

  • THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR POSTING THIS

  • Elvis was the greatest artist ever..."THE KING OF ROCK" will forever be remembered for who he was not what he was..ppl's this is all about how we feel towards his videos..its not a judging area...plz understand while ever the sun shines in the "STARS"will too...if you walked a mile in elvis's shoes your doing great yourself.... let elvis now rest in peace

  • Hadsome beautiful man talented

  • "Saydso" Elvis came from a dirt poor background so he had to start WORKING in high school to help his family,& continued working at jobs where he got his "hands dirty" such as machine work & driving a truck for Crown Electric, until he started touring with Sun records. TOURING IS HARD WORK, & most people can't take it because it is so difficult! Elvis was NOT spoiled; he was carrying the entire operation! The people around him were only afraid of losing their jobs, & having to get a real job!

  • What great shows these were in summer '75. The audience is really going nuts. Elvis of the mid 70s is always underestimated.

  • We saw him at this concert. Was sitting to the right of the stage. He was one of kind. A concert to remember!

  • I was at This Concert, and is was Fantastic!

Miss Elvis, he was really the King of Rock and Roll

  • thank you for this. never saw this. terrific.

  • We all have to admit that his life was a lonely one, maybe the price you have to pay for being so famous. But if you think that was outragous, some people really should take a look at some of todays stars, well and trully fuelled by heavy drugs, and what do people say to that.

  • Explain Tom Jones, OK he ain't American stupid

  • What a brilliant response.

  • Funny how people critique elvis overweight in his later years Well yes he was as was most of the northamerican population Back then when you were in your forties back then you were considered over the hill not like nowadays where being in your 40's and 50's people are considered still very young Also people should remember Elvis was performing 2 shows a night in vegas!Lets see some of todays artists do that Sure he may have been a little heavy but to the critics dont cast stones in glass houses!

  • Explain Tom Jones then.

  • Elvis did concerts al over America.. He burned him self out for the love of us all..

  • Can you write a complete sentence?

  • You do realize that in the 70s obesity was radically lower than it is today, yes? You also realize that Elvis was actually more swollen/bloated from all the drugs and chronic constipation than he was fat. In terms of physique, Elvis deserves all the criticism leveled against him because he did it to himself.

  • Oh like you've accomplished anything worthwhile and been under the pressure he had to deal with. Lay off and grow up, man.

  • You didn't address anything I said. If you have a counter point then make it, don't just "say grow up" while acting like a child.

  • if you missed it, then that's ever worse.

  • You are offer an insult and an excuse, but you do not make a counter point. Very unimpressive.

  • *thumbs up*

  • do you hate Elvis?

  • Do you?

  • no, but some of things you've written lean towards that, I hope you do not.

  • I love Elvis Presley beyond words. What I have said has been critical, but it does not mean I don't love the man. None of what I said was untrue. What Elvis did to himself breaks my heart and I won't lie about it. He was a man like anyone else and it serves no purpose to pretend like he was always perfect.

  • I don't thing everyone believes he was perfect, but I like to calibrate his music, his personal life was his own, no one really knows all the truth, because we weren't with him or could read his mind or heart, just like not everyone knows you. He gave gave us so much, let's focus on the good.

  • Fair enough, but you can't claim that all the music is equal, not all the performances just as good. That's all.

  • we all have days when we perform better than other days, He was a Human he had good days and bad, just like the rest of us. I'm sure you do would would agree. You wouldn't want people pointing out all the bad things you do would you? hope not.

  • Sure, but starting as far back as 1973 the number of bad performances kept growing each year until it became nearly a pattern for certain tours. I'll just sum it up this way: in terms of consistent quality and energy Elvis' best post "comeback" years are 1969-1972.

  • Elvis was a great entertainer and gave all he could into each performance. Walk a mile in his shoes before you Judge him to harshly.

  • True, KingCreole74, very true!

  • E might have been slightly big in the final years, but eveery1 thats an elvis, or part Elvis fan would say hey, we dont care, we listened to the music, not the view (execpt women), the man was a genius.

  • It's really quite remarkable how intellectually dishonest you people who keep giving me thubs down are.

  • give the king a brake fffucking christ sake we al hAAAVE BAD DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • King forever!

  • For Elvis fans only - but "that's all right"!!No point really in saying that a show or shows these clips represent absolutely should have been the TV Special to follow Hawaii '73. He's a bit overweight, but energetic, and the crowd is loud! That '77 gig had some great stuff but what a difference.

  • He doesn't look too bad here. His outfit is awful, but he doesn't look all that out of shape, and his voice is as good as ever.

  • The July, 1975 tour was incredible. Elvis was noticeably heavier than on the June tour (for which he'd lost some weight after the Spring tour) but he was generally in excellent spirits and in immaculate voice. Lots of energy - seek out audio of the Uniondale and Asheville concerts for confirmation (he also did a lot of 'one-off' songs in Asheville). As stated below, the footage on this is from July 18 (Cleveland area) with sound from Uniondale the next day.

  • I have an audio show {complete}Rockin' the Nassau,it must be the same show?

  • This footage is from Cleveland 7-18-75 with audience recorded audio from 7-19-75. The giant hat Elvis wears at one point is a tip-off.....

  • Spot-on!

Apparently RCA has a soundboard recording of this very Cleveland show. Let's hear it!

  • excellent

  • The Best!

  • The King.

  • Fantastic!

  • This is ElvisZone Video not purelistener!s! any way thank you very much!

  • So Beautiful to see him like this. It must have been so amazing and exciting for all those who got to see him really! I would have given anything to have been there! Love Elvis with all my being!!

Thanks for this awesome video purelistener!

  • Pretty sure this is the show my parents took me to. I was 11 yrs old, we were in the rafters, and he was wearing the partially black jumpsuit. I remember the sound was incredible, we were right next to one of the rooftop PA speakers. Does anyone know how many Nassau Coliseum shows Elvis did?

  • he was there 2 days and i believe he did maybe 3 or 4 shows there one of them days he had a day and night show dont hold me to it though but he did perform there july 19 and 20th 1975

  • there was an afternoon and an evening show on saturday july 19th, i was at this show,it was the evening performance.he performed never walk alone by himself on piano, which i dont think he did anywhere else.

  • OK, this is great! Now I know I must have been at the afternoon performance. Thank you.

  • xo tell me more what was it like there!!! my mom saw him in 76 ten months before he died

  • yfyufyucfyufcyufyukfiv

  • I was there

  • this is actually Cleveland 7-18-75

  • only God could bring this raw talent to life...thanks...walking in MPHS

  • love it give me more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great discovery...

  • stunning!!

  • Incredible!!! Its like being there in person! The white thing may be a towel but looks more like a scarf, wonder if someone snatched it off his neck lol...Thanks so much for sharing!!!-Dale

  • AMAZING!

  • What was that white thing coming out towards Elvis and hitting him while he bent to kiss that lady? It seemed to startle him.

  • Might have been a towel. He went through a lot of them. Would wipe off his sweat, then throw the towel into the audience.
