Dude that is so excellent and fill the gaps my dog has in learning to skate better. He just got up on the board one day and started moving it but i need to get him riding it noe have a look what he can do on a tread mill " Dog runs backwards on tread will" and that was the same he just got on it and start to walk on it to.
nice video, i started to train my dog into this a month ago , with the snow board and to build his confidence , now i need to get a skate board , really nice that you share your ideas

I don't think my dogs would ever be able to learn this... One of my dogs is WAY too timid to even go onto her bed, so a moving thing would totally scare the poop outta her! lol my other dog like would never stay on it he'd just walk away... haha but cool trick!!!!
I am just wondering how to teach the kick-off last time when I first teach Xiao xiao to play the skateboard and now I know how to teach it with your awesome video! Thanks for this tutorial! :)
This is such a cool trick!! You are the absolute best dog trainer I have ever witnessed!!! Splash is soooooo adorable!!! :D I have a 9-week-old male rough collie puppy that lives outside in a fence to keep him safe from getting hit by cars. I want to teach him that he is never ever allowed to step one paw onto the asphalt even when I am not there. I don't want him living in his fence forever! Can you please, please help me with this???? I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you!
Emily you are amazing. Thank you for continuing to post free vids for us. I have already taught my dog to hop on and ride but the kick-off is a great idea and I'm excited to try it out. Thanks again.
Thanks for sharing! Especially the first part is great for us - I really need to build more confidence in my dog - that's an inspiring start, I think.
Thank you for sharing this. My dog loves to push the skateboard with front paws on and back feet off. You have given me some help in getting the three feet on stance with one leg push!
Another great training video! I love how to set up for success in your video and makeing sure the dog isn't nervous about the skate board. Amazing video! :)
You've thought out the baby steps very well. When I have trouble, it usually comes down to not starting with an easy enough task to build confidence. Love it!
I taught my dog to skateboard for my school's talent show a few years back. And she completely stole the show! If you want to teach your dog a trick that's fun an easy to learn, I highly reccommend this one! It'll charm the hearts of everyone!
And kudos to kikopup for another fantastic tutorial. You always help make dog training a fun and exciting experience! :)
This is AWESOME! I had totally spaced that I wanted to teach this, but now I have a fantastic tutorial to follow. . . yay! Love watching each dog give it their own spin!!!
My dog was traumatized by the gurgle of a self filling water dish & now refuses to drink from any dish unless someone rubs his back while he drinks. He's also terrified of sharp clicking, snapping noises including the crackle of our wood stove. Any tips on helping him overcome his fears & start drinking on his own again?
Nice video, tanks for doing this learning videos, i have tried to learn my on dog and it works :)
