@Lugia625 yup, that's enough, but keep in mind that 40 will give you the best odds. If you think that the chain might break soon, I'd stop advancing and reset the radar at chain 34. Good luck.

I accidentally found a shiny Floatzel when I was walking one day (it was also the first ever Floatzel I found in the wild). My first ever shiny in any game since the original gold . Released it though since I didn't know how rare it was at the time, and it was a pretty useless pokemon (Swinub) so I found no reason to keep it. And as for it's color, I just thought my game was messed up since I got it used from a friend. I feel like an idiot about that now though. *Punches self in face*

It was only months later when my classmate asked me, ''Hey, you don't have any shiny?'' I asked him what a shiny was, and he replied, ''It's a pokemon with a different color, and they're very rare.'' I couldn't help screaming at him, ''You mean a green Wingull is rare?!?!''

You do know that 40 is the max percentage you can get, right? Going beyond has no effect better than 40. At 40, your percentage is 1 in 250 about.

@Riah8426 there no difference when it come to the shiny pokemon that you'll find, but the color of the shiny patch will depend on what time of the day that you find them. I notice that at dusk/night the shiny patches look more pink/purple and during the day they're more like gold.

Have your Lucario breed with a japanese Ditto to increase the odds to 1/2048 instead of 1/8192.

I know I had the same problem I recomend after 30 just look in square 4 layer 4 if its next to one dont go into it if its by itself on layer 4 and not alined with any other theres 75% chance its a comman one trust me it works.
