Lovely chicago, i visited there in 2007 in october. I'm from North europe. I spent a wonderful, sunny 2 weeks in chicago. I was suprised how summery it still was there in late autumn, at least that year. :)The city looks really nice especially in the sunshine that i had all the time. and Chicago is so magical in the evening and at night, when it's dark and the skyscrapers are lit colourfully, and I also visited many nice different neighbourhoods, there were many beautiful old buildings as well.

I've never been to Chicago, but always wanted to go. My husband & I will be going there sometime in October. How's the weather there that time of year? Should I dress warmly? We will only be there for 3 days, so what are the "must see" places to visit? I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you :o)

Chicago, home to the bulls, the bears, two MLB teams. Home to the sears tower and navey pier, lovley beaches and zoo's. and home to about 75% violent crimes and tom foolery....I can't wait to move out!!!!!

Chicago is lucky because of Montgomery Ward. We have a length of 27 miles. All of the lakefront is park property. There are little bits you cannot access. But, otherwise it is parks or beaches. And, Navy Pier is one great attraction.
