  • l think they should make it up(the toiletgate affaire).even l feel the tension when lm watching this video

  • Как можно играть при таком вот внимании репортёров? Ужас просто.

  • PHOTOGRAFERS IDIOTS! SHAME THE CHESS FEDERATION THAT ALLOWS THIS HUGE LACK OF RESPECT!! PHOTOGRAFERS IDIOTS! SHAME THE CHESS FEDERATION THAT ALLOWS THIS HUGE LACK OF RESPECT!! PHOTOGRAFERS IDIOTS! SHAME THE CHESS FEDERATION THAT ALLOWS THIS HUGE LACK OF RESPECT!! PHOTOGRAFERS IDIOTS! SHAME THE CHESS FEDERATION THAT ALLOWS THIS HUGE LACK OF RESPECT!! PHOTOGRAFERS IDIOTS! SHAME THE CHESS FEDERATION THAT ALLOWS THIS HUGE LACK OF RESPECT!!

  • @VincenzoFlor Mmm you show lack of respect with that massively overrepeated message in caps.

  • it looks like a cold political meeting.

  • lols

  • Who won this game?

  • You arrive at your table fully prepared and...you see all those reporters around and then you get what Fischer meant... :D

  • i don't like topalov.

  • @Simenter13 I heard from a friend who played in one of the amateur groups that Topalov is really nice. He had a nice chat with Topalov and got his scoresheet signed by him. But then Dinalov walked in and suddenly Topalov all changed and didn't say a word anymore. So maybe it is not Topalov but his manager, that makes Topalov look unfriendly.

  • he looks under the table to ckeck for any cables lol

  • @andreiscreciu nice lol

  • how many fuckn pictures of a board do you need to take before the game is started?and im talking about only one photographer.even a pic of every single move would be annoying but 100 pics of a board with no moves? he has a brain damage or something

  • lions in a mouses disguise...

    THEY ARE MONSTERS

  • i challenge the greatest player in chess on a match

  • Corus is a great tournament, I look forward to it every year

  • They sure take their time in the opening moves

  • Oh, and one more thing. How do they play with all that flash photography?

  • agreed, I usually pre-plan my openings and set a pace for my opponent that makes him prone to blundering.

  • Iwas wrong. This game ended in a draw. Topalov beat kramnik a year later, in Corus 2008.

  • Topalov beat Kramnik in this particular game with a prepared sacrificial novelty (especially prepared for this game?).

  • lol, must be kinda hard to play chess while being photographed

  • @mshrum555 Probably the photographers only are given a certain number of minutes in which to photograph.

  • @mshrum555 yeah but probably they're so zoned in it doesn't even matter

  • @mshrum555 Isn't there a rule saying no flash photography while game in progress?

  • @mshrum555

As far as I know, flash photography is allowed only during the first 5 minutes of play. Then all photographers have to stand at a certain distance and can only take pix without flash.

  • @mshrum555 that is one more reason to preciate robert james fischer .

  • Topalov accuses kramnik of cheating because he lost his world championship match to kramink, considering the fact that kramnik defaulted a game,...topalov a dumb ass....

  • strong chess players tend to be pompous asses. And you would think it's a gentleman's sport.

  • @monpogi1 I agree with you but you need to get your facts right. Topalov accused Kramnik of that during the match in the early stages. Because of that Kramnik refused to play a game until the conditions were set to how they first were.

  • strange, but I didn't see them shake hands...something we don't know about?

  • thats the whole point of the vid...kramnik and topalov are "enemies" and do not shake hands at the beginning of a game!

  • @smalls1955 : There is bad blood between them from their WC match. Look up "toilet-gate" or the Kramnik - Topalov world championship. Summary: During the match after an accusation by Topalov that Kramnik was cheating and the locking of Kramnik's bathroom, Kramnik refused to play, Kramnik was defaulted 1 game. The accusation of cheating at such a high level is the epitome of bad sportsmanship. Kramnik won the match and got additional revenge by helping Anand beat Topalov recently.

  • At 1:17 it sounded as if the mortal kombat theme music was going to start.

That would have been so fit for a game between those two, don't you think?

  • (Jenova07) LMAO

  • good gyues

  • i think it's an advertising n not a real match

  • That's the price of fame... hehe...

  • Poor ones look how many cameras if i where kramnik ot topalov i will simply be unable to focus on the game ....

  • Well, at the start I don't think it made much difference. They were probably in something they didn't need to think about, or something that had been prepared in advance. I'm pretty sure Kramnik didn't see Topalov play 1.d4 and think, "What the hell do I play now?!" That's probably why they died down as the game wore on.

  • lmao, that image has made my day

  • topalov and kramnik are the best in chess of course like bulgarian i support topalov

  • Those cameras are a total pain in the ass.

  • How could you focus with such disturbances around you

  • rivals!

  • THESE NIGGAZ AINT SHIT

  • these Niggas you fucking Nigga will beat your fucking Nigga ass sleepy drunk blindfolded and give you a piece advantage .

  • lol

  • Flash-flash, click-click.

  • It would have been nice if they had not skipped ahead after Kramnik's 2...e6. We do not see whether Topalov played 3 Nc3 or 3 Nf3 and if the previous, then did Kramnik play a Nimzo-Indian with 3...Bb4 or just play a Queen Gambit.

  • of course its boring to watch this! Chess is not like golf where u see something, u get excited. What ur looking at is 2 huys looking at a board. And yes its boring. But what u dont see is what they are thinking. And that thing is very creative and beaautiful. If u dont agree with me, i feel sorry for u.

  • I dont see what is the fun in seeing a guy throwing a ball in a hole or holes...thats because I dont understand golf..you seem no to understand chess...you see, I dont agree with you, and I feel sorry for you too.

  • who said i liked golf? u just assumed cause i brought up an example. I find golf boring as hell. soccer is fun to watch. And i feel sorry for u for misunderstanding my comment.

  • ehehehe ok

  • And i do understand chess, not at a professional level. but enough to participate in local tournemnts.

  • Damn how are u supposed to play chess infront of all those camera flashes

  • Cameras are allowed for the first five or ten minutes, then they have to get lost

  • Awesome! Wish I could see the whole thing. These guys are superstars. People who put them down are clueless.

  • Thank you for the video. I was looking for it.

  • this video wasnt meant to be interesting in terms of analysis or any game play. it is a customary video showing the beginning of the round. study the games or follow the game online if you are looking for something more interesting.

  • Awesome.. thanks for the video!

  • 4 fuck sake dont watch that shit u will regret it. fucking boring cunts

  • wAT A LOAD OF SHIT

  • haha nerdS!!!

  • Holy crap, that was boring. I'd rather watch golf.

  • The officials right the moves and the players each have to right the moves this is done to insure a smaller margin of era.

  • u'd think they'd just pay someone to write the moves down on the piece of paper.. :p

  • omg this was really hard shit! I am good in chess and I won my school championship but this was damn boring and stupid.. waste of time.

  • lol why doesn't someone write down the moves for them

  • Cameramen were still taking photos after like 10 moves. How many pictures do they have to take?

  • great video except for them skiping moves not showing the end and other stuff.

  • chess grandmasters have phtographic memory! they have a monstrous memory lol!

  • Wow, how can they play like that will all those fucking cameras going off.

  • wtf was that, lol.

  • damnit man, i'd curse out the camera men.

  • How many times did Kramnik go to the john here?

  • Woww. Like Kasparov - Karpov.

  • No handshake hahaha.... the grudge between the two after Elista's toilet-gate incident.

  • Hehehehe....it was funny when both "V" drinks.
