I've been a huge deftones fan since the very beginning. Still am. Easily the greatest band on the planet. I honestly think this self-titled album was their best by 100,000 miles, followed by adrenaline... saturday night wrist and diamond eyes are both outstanding, too. in my opinion, white pony and around the fur are the weakest links... and those are fucking great albums, too!

In my honest opinion this was the last deftones album that really was deftones. You know the deftones you would remember. After 2003 the deftones started going downhill and fast. I'd still take 2003 Chino over 2010, but it's whatever.

Don't get me wrong tones are my fave band and the S/T era chino produced amazing screams BUT 2010 chino is in shape, screaming is improved,hes all over the stage and the singing is great...2003 chino was smashed,beginning to become overweight,and i believe that was a dark period for them with heavy drug use and divorces
