i hate ford i seen two super dutys crack there blocks out in the ranch country while the 350 that melby had it broke on him while he was fixing fence (switched to dodge) and the 450 lariat was pulling a featherlite horse trailer on highway i-90 towards big sky country, and P.O.S blue oval company tried repacing it with a new one but we made the change to dodge,

My dad had one of these at work. Something let go in the front diff, and sheared the yoke in half, then the driveshaft came off and put a huge hole in the tranny case, then something went wrong in the transfer case, and broke it right in half, and the chain was hanging out of it.I don't really know exactly what happened. It was one sweet truck though !

@fudgemanize for one thing, the towing. the 6.4. is an ok engine. But the new 6.7. has alot of power. 400 h.p. and 800 ft. lb of tq. Industry as well as the everyday user has their reasons for big trucks like this

I drove one of these, and these things are smooth.

But you really have to be careful how you drive because of the dually tires/covers which you have to watch for when parking.

Now that the quirks have been worked out of it and people know how to take care of it it has been proven reliable. As for the Cummins naysayers... look at the track record of the first couple years of the 6.7 and they have no room to talk. I have a 6.0 and love it and my next truck will be one like the one in this video. I know the 6.4 has its quirks but its still a great engine.

It's one of, if not the best Heavy Duty pickups on the market, but the price point is killer. Check out Ford's website for a price point.

i love the f-series pickups from ford for 1 thing i have a 11,525 lb ,37 ft boat, and with the 6.4 liter turbo diesel, and a 4:10:1 axle ratio, and a 6-speed electronically controlled transmission, and 4WD when you have to go hunting like i do, it really will get the job done, not to mention the awesome king ranch package, with has all the options of a lariat standard and more like, kalhi 2nd grade leather seats which are plush. I don't have a f-450, i have a 2009 f-250 king ranch, nice.
