@andysepul1 Listen, dude, andysepul... MotherLove only came out with one album and the whole thing APPLE is worth listening to. It's the international language of the kingofkings and all that baloney bullshitness...Dooo dooo doo weeep waap! And the towel waap
I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS I was looking at itunes rock charts They have an album that was just released on july 19 called " melodies& Dreams"- Andrew Wood But here is the bad news the sound quality is crappy and andy Doesnt sound very good due to the quality. But When I was Previewing the album I found a good couple of songs, "MY Star" To Praise it's Name" and the people review the album saying they didnt know who he was, weLL thats dumb CUZ IM FUCKING 14 AND KNOW WHO HE WAS! LOL
@firefly87 Yes, international language is Love as is music, they both need no translation. Such lyrics from young men impress me, tragic loss yes but, as they say, only the good die young!
I get such a profound sadness when I listen to this song. It's hard to explain but it brings me to tears everytime. This song is amazing and Andrew Wood was amazing.
We are looking to release a video with never before seen footage live in concert, with a few songs never heard before heard a 2 DVD/CD set. I'm sure most who love MLB will enjoy this video. However we would like to have a response from you if you would be willing to purchase a video of such. Please send an email to:
What a wonderful song. Andrew Wood, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Shannon Hoon, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison... So many great musicians who are gone because of substance abuse. What is really lost is the music that they had yet to create. At least, we can enjoy and remember the wonderful music that they left behind for us before they prematurely passed away.
First of all, U say faggy like its a bad thing. Second you are all missing the point of this song. Be a man of Golden Words! To (petebecall)I was a huge Nirvana fan so I understand the frustration and anger felt by all when Kurt decided to take his own life. But, comparing this song to cobain? Maybe I forgot the progression of things, but I'm pretty sure that mother love bone, temple of the dog, and pearl jam made the "grunge" sound popular? "The only international language is Love."
@MrBmac357 hmmm ok. sounds like your an expert on the life of someone that you have never met in your entire life. tell me how the hell do you know anything about him? people have reasons for doing what they do. and if you think he killed him self because of being famous then your just a fucking moron. your nothing more than the dirt on my shoe too me. when you get caught up in drugs life is much different everything changes. everything. be a heroin addict for 10 plus years and then tell me fag
mlb was not patterned after any of those they were pre seattle grunge when it got famous they were the start...andrew died right when shine was released and at time was very anti drug movement going on and since andrew died of they did not promote shine was groundbreaking at time was the original seattle sound
It seems to me like Jeff and Stone were more into glam and 80s arena rock first, but after Andy died, their world was turned around, and they got angry. Their music became harder, faster, angrier, and grunge was born.
imagine, Mother Love Bone if it had survived. Grunge was patterned after Mudhoney, Nirvana, AIC, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, all of which had the Punky edge to them. What would have happened if Mother Love Bone had exploded like I think it would have. How different would it have sounded. God, could he write lyrics.

What a song! What music!
The places this band could have gone... Was never to be though. The band could never continue as a unit after the death of Woods - how could they?
All we have is this wee snapshot of a new, fresh and pioneering sound from that era (their album/CD Apple) - but what a snapshot!
Their music will be with us for some time I believe.
