I don't think people realize that most of these guys aren't your run of the mill sexual predators. A lot of it comes down to basic physiology. Many of the men are unattractive, overweight, or insecure - and when one of the decoy profiles of an attractive, young girl shows even a tiny bit of interest, it sparks their curiosity and, most certainly, cardinal desire. Violent sexual predators track and hunt the same prey for months before jumping on. Most of these take less than a week.

Also, being overweight, unattractive, or insecure doesn't justify preying on a minor any more than being poor justifies stealing. Self-control is one thing that separates humans from other animals.

If they want pleasure, they want it now, and can't wait. If they see a delivery truck delivering expensive wine, they hijack it. I think it is a mental condition where you have such a need for something that you're willing to throw away all logic towards getting it. People like that can't see long term affects of actions
