You could have showed some different stages or even bosses. And Sonic Chaos is not a bad game by any means. It's easy, like the first game.

As for Chaos, you just said it yourself, it's easy. Being able to beat a Sonic game in under 30 mins due to difficulty, makes it a bad game.

Which is why 99% of Wii games suck.

Honestly never played it just heard from many that I'll hate it because it's stupidly easy, which is why I said dissapointing because it's dissapointing that after getting to finally try all of these classics I'm gonna have to pass on it.

great review got a sms when I was 7 and had all the sonic games hours of fun when I was a kid it was my first ever console so it will always have a place in my heart but just recently sold it to make room for a snes I was sad to see it go

I never liked this game at all. I tried multiple times and I don't think I ever got past the first zone mainly cause of that bug boss at the end. If the video was based on how you actually play the game, then you haven't either and it's VERY odd that you like the game.

That diesn;t make sence. It's quite obvious that I've played the game as I'm doing it.

And the vids are never really based on how you play, otherwise they'd be let's plays.

I just know that I like Sonic games in 2D. And many more do too.

Not everyone likes/dislikes the same games and not everyone likes/dislikes the same thing in games.

The reason I've never shown much gameplay was because adding cuts just makes the work a lot harder on my brother and now that he's back at work, the time it takes to do a vid is a BIG issue.

So now I do show even less gameplay. But I've said since I started that I just cover the game. Gameplay footage, I'm afraid, you need to go looking.

That's not what I'm looking for especially since I've played this game years back (and even more recently). Just sayin' it would make the game more appealing.

And yes, this game will net you coins on Club Nintendo, the new royalty program that recently launched in NA (it was out in Europe for a year though... lucky them...) . Anyway, only certain titles that were released before December 2008 (when it launched) would be eligible for surveys and coins and this was one of the games on the list.

Well we have club nintendo, we just don't have this coins promotion from the looks of things.

We use stars and we haven't got any of them from this either.

At least my account has remained the same.

Most annoying thing for me was, it was that shit I spend a ton of points on wallpapers because 10 years back, it was the best you could get.

So had I not, I'd have gotten 1,000 Wii points.

Now though, the stars expire after 2 years, so if you're saving up for something big, you gotta get a whole lotta stars and fast otherwise, you're screwed.

And that's exactly why I said that. I am well familiar with the star system upsets and its flaws. I'm glad ours isn't as bad - requiring SO much to get a little reward.

I really don't understand why Sonic Chaos gets such bad reviews... Just because it's easy? It's always been my favourite of the 8-bit Sonic games.

Depends.

If you like platformers, old school games and Sonic, and also own all of the better Sonics, then yes.

I do enjoy the 8-Bit Sonics (Even Chaos, which I feel VC-Reviews were a little harsh on), but then I'm a sucker for old school Sonic games.

It's just because of how easy it is and how the game can be beaten quite quickly.
