The amount of frames you use is attiquit(the right amount) just make them shorter. Your animations will look more natural. Your transformer collection is amazing btw.

the car doors look better in robot mode when they are completely covering the front wheels. And the car bonnet looks a little too high in robot mode - I can't be bothered transforming mine to robot right now to compare but I know it should be able to go lower than it is on the video.

I suppose so. I don't have any immediate plans though. For now I think the Transformers are interesting on their own without a distracting background. The green poster board is easy to illuminate and doesn't reflect too much light.
