This was basically the argument 2 friends on twitter were making about Johns vid. I kinda agree that we have no right to tell them how to make money, or how what they want to advertise (if anything).
Though I can see why option C that John proposed would give them some sort of an idea of what kind of things we wouldn't mind being advertised to about. Ultimately though I trust that they know us well enough to be able to make that decision themselves.
