I was at this show and I must say, as incredible as this particular video of this performance is, it does not even come close to matching the power and emotion that was present in the Coronado Theater that night. I've had some pretty incredible experiences in my life and hearing David sing this song live was right up at the top of the heap. I implore anyone who enjoys David's voice to go hear him live. I was at the concert last night. David totally caught me off guard performing this song....as I was expecting him to do a cover of 1000 Miles or Crazy.. It was absolutey incredible, breathtaking, soaring haunting vocals. I told my husband as soon as the song started that David had never performed it that way in public. In fact, I'm reasonably sure he's never performed it in concert. Rockford Archies, we WERE VERY LUCKY to be there last night.
