By the time this intro for "Talent Round-Up Day" was filmed (1955), Mickey's voice was "impersonated" by Disney's sound effects artist Jim MacDonald, and he continued to do so for at least the next 25 years...
I fell in love with the Original Mickey Mouse Club show when it was re-run in the '70's. Darlene and Tommy were my favorite Mouseketeers and Talent-Round Up Day on Fridays was my favorite day of all! Thanks for the memories. :)
@audie83 I AGREE WITH YOU,,TALENT ROUND-UP WAS SO AWESOME!I STILL LOVE IT,SINCE I FIRST SAW MMC IN THE 70S TOO..BUT MY FAVS WHERE ANNETTE,DARLENE,LINDA ,KAREN AND LONNIE.[THE CUTEST BOY]
Yep ! That's Walt. He was there on the day of the intro recordings with Jimmy MacDonald and he reminded everyone that he did Mickey's voice too so Jimmy let him do it.

There wasn't enough Disney stuff on TV then, and still not enough today...if you're talking about the old school catalogue.
