  • Does anyone know the make and model of the piano accordion and what other kinds are good for irish tunes?

  • @kmand0100 That's a Saltarelle Clifden. 35 treble keys, 60 bass with 2/3 reeds. Nice accordions, but a little on the pricey side. There are lots od accordions that can play Irish music, it's all in the tuning of the box and your preference. I own a couple of GVerde accordions, and a large Sonola.

  • Hi

Don't know how thw slip jig or the reel are called. The strathspey name, howewer, is 'The Iron Man' and was composed by the renowned fiddler James Scott Skinner. Don't guess is there any pipe version, but could be wrong...

    Cheers,

    Fer
