I saw the box art for Skyward Sword yesterday. Appropriately it shows Link raising his sword up towards the sky, reminding me of the Upward Sword Thrust from Adventure of Link.

Interestingly, this is only the second Zelda game in which Adult/Teen Link has appeared on the cover besides Twilight Princess.

Most big Zelda games always come out around xmas time or just before and this adds to the magic:) OOT, MM, TP and now SS. I am going to take my time with this game and make it last as long as possible. I don't like people who rush games. Take ya time, look around and enjoy the graphics, Stand still and enjoy the music. Go around the game world and take in as much detail as you can. Make your Zelda games last!!!

I was thinking today about how both Mario and Zelda had Gamecube games that largely relate to water. I also see a connection between Skyward Sword having a lot to do with the sky and Super Mario Galaxy taking place in outer space.

@WindwakerLink2 well like most people (like my self) beleive that in the zelda timeline,zelda NES was is somewere near the end of the timeline,and in one of the trailers SS link has a harp that zelda had (if you've seen any of the SS gameplays) which could have been the harp that sheik used in Oot. which means SS came before Oot. and ALttP is at te end of the timeline. when link put back the sword, it said "the blade is put to rest, never to be used again"

Honestly, I am looking forward to this game more for the story aspects...suppostedly this is the "earliest" Zelda game in the timeline (I know they balked at the question that this is the "first" in the time line")

But that fact you see link dawn this tunic for what might be the first time and the inclusion of the Master Sword creation...I am hugely looking forward to this.

@sith00 Yes he is a new character that much is obvious, my theory is he is Leader of the Dark Interlopers talked about in Twilight Princess, a race of beings who mastered dark magic in order to get their hands on the Triforce. They were driven from Hyrule into the Realm of Twilight and eventually evolved into the Twili and you will have to wait a few more months to see if I am right or wrong. There is nothing wrong with a bit of fun speculation, but I am almost curtain he is. Its a hunch.
