@Ruthairat - no offense taken. Although the camera was a little stretched horizontally (a little), I was a little larger back then. As far as the coloured gi top, it is a tradition followed in our system and the colour forms part of my coat of arms.
Thank you for your compliments - I/we are slowly working on putting more footage on YouTube soon. Please subscribe if you are interested.
@bigdaddycoolshoes - please see my comment on the Tanto Kata, but this actual kata also came from Soke Lawrence, and was taught to me by Soke Tony Ball. Also, the 'sho' and 'shodan' are generally interchangeable when referencing Kata. 'First' or 'first level'.
@animeOmega125 - we practice Kata to develop spirit and technique. Whether it is impressive or not doesn't really come into it for us. There are many clips on YouTube if you're looking for something more aesthetically pleasing though.
uhm, how do I say it? Kinda short, and I suppose even taking the ability the performer seems to have, unimpressive. I don't doubt combat ability, but the kata seems a bit boring.
P.S to anyone who wants to do this, clicking your tonfas together like that might impress some people who don't own them or just don't think about it, but all it does is damage the handles.
To be honest "Don't take this the wrong way". At first i saw the green GI top and thought, another hybrid, franchised Karate style. And then I see that the practitioner was a little heavy. Then all of a sudden he pulls off this awesome tonfa Kata with speed technique and precision, not to mention the roll. As the old saying goes. "NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR APPONENT" Great Kata, Well done. If you have more Please do the world a favour and post them.

I can only come to the conclusion this isn't traditional, but made up then.

Shouldn't it be "Sho", not "Shodan"? And again, does anyone know the origins of this kata? If I keep asking I may get an answer! You never know!

@bigdaddycoolshoes looks like a nunchuku routine with tonfa to me.

I am going to ask the same thing I did on the tanto video - who invented this? Both kata's have a roll in.
