  • Very well said..it was clearly stated..

  • He is very easy to listen too. He did make me stop and think.

  • @momoreuserid I am based in the UK, my only exposure to DaVita is from these lectures with Kent. Didnt he save the company and with it 10,000 jobs?

  • Such is the philosophy of aforementioned management. "Drink our Kool-Aid, ignore deficiencies, kiss backside. Otherwise get out. My friend, I am thankful to say, I've never joined the DaVita cult. I currently hold a job that rewards people for being dedicated, not for being ignorant, silent & compliant. A place where a set of managers in the workplace want hard work, but not at the cost of their employees' family life and physical/mental health. Let upper management know I said hello.

  • Wow. The first few minutes are really disturbing. Maybe this "village mayor" needs to stop trying to leading a cult like some jackass rockstar and work on reducing clinic turnover due to unreasonable expectations and declining patient care. Pride goes before a fall. And it's surprising Mr. Thiry's head can fit into any building he enters.

  • @nomoreuserid - DaVita went from bankruptcy to fortune 500 under his command. DaVita also has the lowest mortality rate for patients among all dialysis companies. No brag, just fact. If KT wants to run around and do somersaults on stage, then let him.

  • @NomdaePlume You clearly haven't worked for this company at the clinic level. Salary workers--especially Facility Admins are expected to abandon any life they have outside of the clinic and become completely kill themselves trying to meet expectations set by a management team who hardly ever connects with what's going on in reality. 14-16 hour days 5 and 6 days a week. Overworked employees quitting because of said schedule, sometimes in groups. The only answer the Regional Operations...

  • ...Directors have is to lean on the Clinic Managers about training and turnover. So much for caring about the "Village." Notice anything here? The fact that I haven't even mentioned patient care?? That's because it's about FOURTH on the list of Mr. Thiry and the brass he has in place. He's more interested about lining his pockets in preparation for a political career. Just what we need. More people in office like the recent Wall Street morons. The clinics are garbage and...

  • ...are most often in disrepair, forcing two clinics to share the same location while renovations with promises of a new building are made. Patient mortality?? That's probably because with decreasing patient population, you can't have as many deaths. And patient mortality is NOT the number one way to rank Mr. Thiry's success. Mr. Thiry's business model of "say one thing and do another" is, for lack of a better word, PREHISTORIC corporate behavior. Again, pride goes before a FALL.

  • @nomoreuserid - If you're still working for DaVita, then quit. Quit before you take out your frustrations you have against Kent on our patients. Quit because... to put it bluntly... you're not a DaVitan.

  • KT rocks of course
