I bet that engine could rev-limit all day without stressin! I wish it could ramp up a bit higher but that does sound like 4K or so .. good for a diesel. I really hope these will be in the USA!

i tell you something! i have 2006 accord i-ctdi. they have 140hp. 2.2liters. and he have 8.8sec 0 - 100 and max speed 229kmh. and what have 2.0. Liters on petrol ?? 150hp 9.3 sec 0-100 and max speed 217kmh. and disel have better all performance , Engine can pass much more kilometars then petrol engine. spends 30% - 40% more petrol then diesel. Winner is no doubt ......DIESEL

@badboypakrac higher costs, more maintence, higher service costs and shorter service intervals, not always a winner. and they certainly cant be stressed over long periods of time.

I have the 2.0 litre petrol Type S model. Sometimes wish i had gone for the diesel as you really need to spin to petrol engine to get the power from it. On the other hand the engine is very refined and frugal.
