Here in Colorado, there is no helmet law for motorcycles. If they don't have to I don't either. But then again I don't ride my bike in traffic.

what i'd like to see is a new-york bike messenger talk for 10 minutes about dangerous situations in traffic and about accidents that he saw or heard of and how to avoid them.

THAT would be helpful and informative.

the Netherlands you aren't obligated to wear a helmet. But in Germany it is.
