Don't say his ego got in the way of their success because he's the reason they are succesful! Withough his lyrics, which are so full of meaning and emotion, they wouldn't have gotten very far. And tbh i don't know about the bass, i don't know much about instruments but he looks sexy whilst playing it so i don't really care about his technique :L x

FOB hasn't played live for awhile, there split at the moment.. Patrick's voice is beyond amazing. I have been to 5 fall out boy concerts and met him. he's talented. They really fell into theyre groove on the live scene now though. Not to mention Paticks range is absolutely ridiculous. As for their musicianship. They are mediocre at best. Really nothing special at all. Their only saving grace is that they make catchy music... but I wouldn't write home about it. It's nothing spectacular as far as originality and musicianship.
