Silva wouldn't get Le to the ground unless he knocked him down which in that case he'd probably go for the TKO before the submission, a black belt in BJJ only means you are good on the ground, but Le has the strength to determine whether or not the fight goes to the ground so i don't see a submission ever happening. Silva has reach, Le has versatile striking, it could go either way.

i don't really see how silva has an advantage in mma, he doesn't attack with ground game. Le is an undefeated world champion in Sanshou, which is basically the exact same fighting style silva uses in his ufc fights. Also i consider Shamrock to be a top tier fighter, and le walked all over him. he is new to mma so his lack of competition is not really an indicator of his skill, his total dominance of all the fighters he's faced is a good one. But we won't know the outcome unless they fight.

Cung has made it clear that 170lbs is too big a cut for him. He walks around at about 192. Silva has the reach advantage and is a vicious as well as versatile striker but I think Cung's standup is better than Silva's. Based on their styles I don't see this fight going to the ground. But his San Shou and Kickboxing career has given him alot of experience in what would likely be a standup battle.
